Congrats on your newborn

Wish you all the best XD

I really like the art style used here

and the movement, backflip, dash, dive is really smooth, I like it XD

Sorry, but how to play it? I can jump, press buttons and collect/avoid projectiles. But how to play?

Really cool classic retro graphics!
The character and the jumping looked really cute! :D

Also congratulations on your newborn! :))

I like the very cute retro graphics. Congratulations on finishing the game jam and the birth of your daughter.

First of all, congrats for your game and for your daughter! :)

I liked the CRT effect, and the retro gameboy palette! The gameplay was a fun idea, I just wish there was a sound or something to give feedback to the player, since it took me a while to understand the objective, and even more to understand that you can dash x)

Either way, it was fun playing it! It was simple enough that I kept playing and lost track of time, it was nice! :)

Double congrats on your game release and your newborn!

Took me a while to figure that I needed to "take the hits", as my usual habit is to avoid bullets (from shooter knee-jerk reaction). Looking foward to your future releases, if you do choose to juggle coding and parenthood.

Nice. I thik the speed af the balls should increase way more with the levels

Yeah... I was supposed to implement even obstacles as you advance in phases. I had too ambitious plans this being my first game and being inexperienced in game dev ( I'm a backend/frontend dev ) . Thank you for the comment <3

I know the feeling. I am a beginner in game development too, but also in development in general. So many things to learn. The building and publishing processes are way more complicated than I thought.

I hope that the goal was to just stand where the "buttons" are, because I could not figure out anything else. I liked the music and art :)

Yeah that was it lol. Forgot to leave the instructions in the description, thanks!
