Nice game, however the icons can be more readable.
Maybe first tutorial level: Just one belt, no enemies or infinity health just to learn how to play.
Add sound/visuals to show that you need to avoid flying parts.
How to restart after the death?
Thanks for the amazing feedback!! The tutorial idea is really good
I wanted to implenent level select and more vfx but sadly didn't had enough time the deadline was due :/
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
Really liked this one, played multiple times. Great job!
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it!! :)
Really liked this one, played multiple times. Great job!
Cute graphics, I like that the... thing... works like a claw machine, really fun. :) It would have been nice to have a restart option.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it! True sadly I didn't had much time to implement more stuff! :/
So chaotic! Loved the idea!
Thank you very much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
I thought the controls for the claw were really great. Cool game!
Thank you very much for playing! :))
fun idea... wish the song was mastered louder/there was sfx for feedback but otherwise its neat....
Sadly I didn't have time to implement vfx, also I was afraid that the soundtrack would be too loud, and I didn't implement mute button so I though it the game might be unbearable to play so I lowered it a lot. I would like to believe that you said that because you liked the soundtrack in that case thanks!! xD
Thanks a lot for playing! :DD
Nice idea ! I like how the casted shadow gives the player the feeling to fly, this and the elegant motion inertia :)
I don't know if it's my small laptop monitor but I sometimes add troubles recognizing the parts, maybe increasing their size and/or giving it color identity could help?
And congrats on making it for the jam !!
Thank you so much for playing!
Yeah the truth is I added most of the contrast at the end, I probably had to make that contrast more intense, thanks for letting me know I will keep that in mind!! :D
I also just started grabbing stuff haphazardly, listening to the tunes, and zoning out. Great game for hanging out!
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
Silly me, I was picking up assorted stuff without realising I had to match the pattern. So much for reading the instruction manual before operating heavy machinery!
I can just imagine how much more "punishing" it could be with sfx whining at mistakes and hits.
Congrats on the game's release!
Hahah thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! :DD
Good fun and balanced challenge. Its begging for some retro sounds!
Thanks! True true! Didn't have time to add more stuff sadly!
Really nice idea! It would be awesome with satisfying sound effects when picking up stuff :)
Playing your game, I was truly *hooked* (hehe, get it? because it's a claw, so... heh...)
Congrats on the submission, it was fun playing :)
Thank you very much!
You were *hooked* that was the point! xD
Sadly I didn't had much to implement more stuff and polish it in the end!
Score: 2472! Nice game idea! Music and graphics were also nice. Wish there were some SFX, but it can be so hard to do in a game jam setting, heh! I liked that there were different rarities of stuff. GREAT job finishing the jam!!
Thanks you very much for playing dude!! :)
Yeah sadly I didn't have enough time at the end to add vfx and polish something thing here in there! :/
I enjoy this quirky thing. The grabber movement is sluggish and the colored outlines make it difficult to distinguishing between the objects sometimes, but the fundamentals here are solid.
Really interesting interpretation of the theme; It makes me think a little bit of the mini game in Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening, but on a more chaotic level. I am not sure if I was pressing the wrong button, but the game seemed to either crash or not have a "return to menu" state after a game over. It would have been nice to have some sort of feed back (audio or visual) from getting hit; the player would flash as if damaged after collecting an item, so it was hard to tell if I had been hit by something.
Thanks! Yeah I wanted to add also 2 more levels, level selection, game restarting and had ideas for audio queues but didn't have the time to implement them! Thanks for the suggestions
Really cool animations, I like it XD
and addition of Bullet Hell really make the game fun to play XD
Thanks for the rating!
I wanted to add more patterns and had to put a limit on how many bullets can spawn at a time, at some point it was a real bullet hell but was unplayable! xD
impossible mode difficulty lol
I'm really glad that there's a limit on number of spawn bullets XD
