Really love the music! gotta find some time to dig in...

An amazing effort and polish! I do love games that require thinking and planning, and this one seems like it can be quite deep.

Congrats on the release!

Wow, love the atmosphere and the quality! Cranked my screen brightness up to max and was still wondering if I needed to tweak contrast settings too...

Note to self... please play with a proper mouse. Trackpad is suicide.

lol I still have ways to go to make it less intimidating, and easier to use.

I would even offer to make the tunes too, as that would probably be the next thing I'll do to put it through its paces.

Nicely done! I could really feel the mounting pressure of working in such a film development studio.

Keyboard shortcuts would make sense for speed.

Why core

Enjoy spring

what hope

dream like autumn

not under fall

Wow, I love point and clicks adventures, and I felt like I was playing a game akin to Myst. Nicely done!

I really love point and clicks, and I feel this really nails it! Love the humor too, kudos on the writing.

Well done, I have no idea what I'd do to improve on this execution.

Nice work! I like the small animations and the art design, felt very consistent to me.

My only confusion was not realising those billowing plumes meant I got a gas field. Maybe a muted explosion sound or something different to cue a player audibly?

Noticed that there wasn't any music too. Hopefully when I get to polish niceNESs, it can help in that dept. 😅

Thanks for taking it for a spin! I should include an in-app notification for web users... due to the limitation of running on web (unable to write files to a file system) the music data cannot be saved into MML which is then used for audio playback.

In the future, I hope to be able to make the audio playback independent of the MML export flow so that web users can also enjoy their tunes. I'll be exploring what can be done safely via browser.

Thanks for testing it out, and you are definitely right! there's should be a lot more information to reveal to a user, if not it's really "flying blind".

By right, the app should auto-restore from the point you quit (using a SaveOnQuit autosave) so you shouldn't need to manually load your previous work. But I definitely want to make the feature where you can just drop your .sml file into the app window and it will load it. :)

Thanks for reporting. So interesting, searching "f7" doesn't have any results in the code, so I am wondering how that binding happened.

Yes, the preview code is quite funky. To preview the whole track, you need to click on the pattern again (eg "a" "b" "c") which will trigger a compile of all the individual tracks (the MML preview window should overflow)

I suppose there bugs to be found :)

Since I did adopt this from the actual MUD that I play, that world sets it up so that the schools are actually not accessible by regular means, thus not on the world map.

I really like the graphics, animation, sound, music... very cool on the dice roll effect.

My gameplay isn't that great though, as I'm not too familiar with the rules and the use of the tables.

Congrats on the game's release!

Very cool combat sim! There's the inevitable self-comparison with my own game which does something similar, and I have to say I love it that yours has the combat logs and implementation of gambits (I totally ran out of time to implement any of my conditional options that I wanted the player to have on my game)

Love the artwork and character names :)

Having an online component is super impressive to me, for a 10 day jam.

Congrats on your game's release!

Score 200. Wow, I had totally no idea what I was doing. At first I thought it was just a puzzler to determine how well I could fit the pieces on a map. When the music changed, oh boy... I was on the edge of my seat wondering what I could do apart from watch it all fall to pieces.

Really awesome mood music!

Congrats on the game's release!

Nice work with the music and art! Had to get used to how they were flocking to my home then I was "blooping" them all away... :)

Congrats on the game's release!

I love the music to get in the mood... was quite a short experience though. I was firing away like crazy until I realised I had limited ammo.

Congrats on the game's release!

Running a heist is harder than it looks in the movies! I love the artwork!

Congrats on the game's release!

Wow congrats on your first completed game! I think it's really unique the concept, at least I've not seen such a thing of mixing tetris with a bridge puzzler.

It took me a while to figure out those "tree blocks" and how to strategise with them.

This could really be something! It felt like quite a unique puzzler to me.

For stage two, I was so silly and laid my first track running right out of the screen, so killing any means of success. :P

Congrats on your game's release!

Thanks for playing and the encouraging words!

I'm really happy that there are generally people that don't find the UI off-putting. Gives me much more reason to invest more time and effort into it.

Ah yes, I've also hit the web export issue. I had to remove my web export as it was not working well. Definitely something that I will need to consider as I'm building up my projects now.

Thanks for playing and the encouraging comments!

For simpler music, would it mean something like chiptunes, or the kind of midi music that was more common in the DOS days? I think I might actually do up some midi tracks, maybe.

I was able to move and shoot the mushrooms, but couldn't figure out how to end the stage. Was that what was meant by it being a sandbox?

Congrats on releasing the game!

Feels very polished for a 10 day game jam to me! I think I am not making proper or good use of the power-ups.

Congrats on the game's release!

Nice work with the clean graphics and animation. I haven't gotten the hang of the strategy needed to win, so I am steadily being trumped by the computer. But that's not a bad thing! Nice work.

Congrats on your game's release!

Wow, I used to enjoy solitaire because it was chill and allowed me all the time in the world to figure things out. Nuclear is a stress blast! That beeping really makes me sweat!

LOL, I have to admit I played a few rounds just deliberately putting the wrong card so that I blew up immediately. Can't say why that was so entertaining for me at the start.

Congrats on the game's release!

Interesting tower defense! I get jittery when I can't tell where they will be coming from.

Congrats on the game's release!

Cute frogs! Took me a few rounds before the two frogs met.

Congrats on your game's release!

Looks like a great effort for a 10 day game jam! I felt like I couldn't really rate it well as I didn't get a chance to run this with the intended multiplayer to get the full sense. But it does look pretty polished!

Congrats on the game's release!

Never would have figured that a successful snake oil salesman would need to be good at typing! Cool way for story and world building :)

Congrats on the game's release!

Took me some time to realise I needed to do things to the level, like edit the level so that I can clear it. Nice puzzler making use of map/level editing!

Congrats on the game's release!

I love the graphics, nice sun and clouds floating by, and the sparkle effects when the plants mature!

Wish there was some cool, chiil bgm to go with it. :)

Congrats on the game's release!

At first I was wondering if I would get stuck, then I noticed the thing that would bring me to a new room. There's definitely a worry about food, and I kept making wasted moves.

Ended up in a room that only had gems and no teleports. I suppose that is the natural end game room.

Congrats on your game's release!

Nice work on the auto-battler. At the moment, I still lose against all the intelligence programmed for my opponents. :P

Congrats on your game's release!

At first, I really lost a lot of food, then I saw the action number on the cards and the number of action points each day. It became smoother after that.  Managed to survive :)

Congrats on your game's release!

I like how you implemented the camera to follow the player character, I was moving around looking for penguins to shoot!

Not sure if I got the shooting correct though, but I did see some numbers change at the top left.

Congrats on your game's release!

At first I was wondering how to escape since I couldn't really see the exit (almost flushed with the border and a color that is somewhat subdued, almost background). But once I figured it out, I was able to run all the way out!

Congrats on your game release!

At first it looked like things were going easy for me, so I got complacent. Wow, one later stage totally wiped me out.

Would be nifty to have some sfx as I was imagining some huge impact sounds with the hammer.

Congrats on the game release!
