Awesome! Maybe doubleclick to film to move it to the next stage, not only drag-n-drop.
Got to about 8 orders on my first go through. Definitely agree that keybindings would go a long way. Nice seeing a "order preparation game" that isn't about cooking food.
Edit: okay, after moving the game over to my screen table to lock in, I managed to get 15 photos finished. This game would be a lot of fun if you could upgrade you studio.
Wow 15, is really good! Upgrades were something I really rally wanted to add, but couldn't find the time. Last 4 days of the jam I kept reducing the scope more and more, until I finally added a "upgrades coming soon" image a few hours before submitting haha. Thanks for playing!
Nicely done! I could really feel the mounting pressure of working in such a film development studio.
Keyboard shortcuts would make sense for speed.
Yep, keybindings is the first thing I'll look into in the post jam version
This was very fun! Agree with ellraiser's comments about keyboard shortcuts allowing for players to ramp up speed once they understand the gameplay. I managed to get 9 orders in. I can see this as a cool storytelling medium like Papers Please.
Papers Please was definitely an inspiration! Initially the game was going to have more storytelling through the pictures, as well as customer interactions where you needed to learn things from their pictures, but I had to reduce the scope multiple times to be able to finish in time haha
fun game XD
I only managed to complete 6 orders because I am slow at the edit setting process :"D
but the setting process is really fun ^^
There's definitely a knack for the images, and I ended up making the game too hard because I played it for so long, hahaha. Thanks!
Very fun idea! I love the concept and the execution. Very intuitive too.
Thanks! I really liked where it ended up :)
this is a such a fun idea!! got to about 9 orders then couldn't keep up, maybe some shortcut keys for some of the photo actions for some pro-strats?
Thanks! Shortcuts are definitely #1 requested thing hahah, it really is a bit fiddly to configure all the sliders.
