nice game XD
I also didn't expect it will took a lot of from my GPU :'D
but it was interesting idle game
maybe more particle effect will make it more dramatic and hurt GPU more lol
It's a cool concept, but after several upgrades you start feeling invincible and the rounds drag on for too long.
I was down to 1 HP and desperate! And then the next upgrade just multiplied my bullets, and then the next made them faster... and faster... and faster...
There goes my CPU, running at 230% but so satisfying to see nothing but purple.
Congrats on your game release! I think I am going to make my R36S suffer next. :P
Movement upgrade nah I'll take my upgrades and play the idle strat lol!
im unsure if the audio actually works, generally i'd say a linux build with appimages is far more troublesome than simply a .love fille will be so its not necessary to build one!
past that its an interesting indie game, the lack of audio however does make it feel quite barren and makes that feeling of satisfaction not quite appear.... same for a lack of particle effects.
Nice little idle(?) game, could be expanded into a great one! It was pretty random if you could survive the first few upgrades and if you got the right kind of upgrades (secondary lasers + speed + tiny enough) but once you got those good enough you could survive basically endlessly I think. Got over 4 million points when I stopped playing. GREAT job finishing the game jam!!
I think this is a neat concept. It wasn't clear to me at first that I couldn't manually control the ship but once I gathered how the games works I think this is pretty cool. It almost feels like it could be an idle game with some more fleshing out. Dope!
I like the art style, very simple and nice. I felt like any of the movement options got me hit more often than they helped, but then again, not moving also got me hit. At some point it felt like there was nothing in my power to actively prevent what was bound to happen. I wonder if you could increase player interaction by allowing for players to click and shoot a specific enemy once a second or something as a panic strategy.
Coolant is OP! Heroes never give up!
I like the colors+patterns it creates when you get to bullet heaven territory. Would be cool to see a shader trail for the lasers or maybe another color thrown into the mix!
Another color ad nauseum?! Definitely! Thanks for playing.
Super fun little game. Took me a bit to figure out, what upgrades to buy, but after that it was fun to just sit back relax and watch :)
Thank you!
Really nice idea! It would shine more with more polish and with less wait time, I liked the idea of being "powerless" and just wait it out :)
Congrats on the submission!
Thanks for playing!
I like the idea, I like the upgrades, simple graphics kind of suit it.
But why the exponential delay between upgrades? I guess I won't close it and I will see how far I can go, but the delay will enter into days pretty soon :D I've just played several other games waiting for an upgrade.
Thanks for playing! Indeed, the balance needs work. With coolant and edge bouncing, it should be pretty easy to break the game. But eh, you get a cool trippy visualization in the end :)
Very interesting concept! Definitely would be cool to see this developed further.
Thanks for playing!
Coolant and bounces ftw! loved the concept!
Thanks for playing!
