Wow, I love this game! The music really sets the mood for me, and the pixel art is sweet. Gameplay is so nice as it moves at a comfortable pace and gives enough choices as not to overwhelm and still feel complex enough to explore different strategies.

Can I just say that it's embarrassing that I release my game with a similar premise to this and I feel the execution here is so much more polished! If anyone played Loopy Hero (my game) without playing Party Planner, you are missing out big time!

Congrats on your game's release!

Developer

That is very nice of you to say, I’m glad you enjoyed the game. Thank you for the kind words and the encouragement!

I think this is my fastest record lol

The game is really good

and planning the adventure somehow really fun

Maybe add like predict difficulty rate for each level for each party so we have an information whether to risk it or play it safe

Developer(+1)

I am happy you liked it!

The idea of giving more context and information about what risks lie ahead is very good. I wanted to add equipable items, maybe some items could give you more information about what is to come!

Nice! But tips for characters will be very helpful! Also add the button "buy 10 food" for big parties.

Developer(+1)

Yes, bulk buy was on the todo list but I ran out of time. I will add it in the future! More information about the classes is definitively good advice. Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed it!

Almost reminds me of old school dragon quest in some ways! Really cool!

Developer

Well, this is incredibly high praise. I am glad you enjoyed it!

Wow the mood is amazing, I loved this !

It feels like with a few more days/weeks working on it it could be a really cool game !

I look forward to see the future versions of this game, if you plan on developing it further !

Developer

Thank you for the king words!

I do plan on further developments. There are a couple of mechanics I didn’t have the time to implement, but really want to get in the game!

The game looks nice! I like the idea of equipping a party and sending it into a dungeon. I've beaten it after some trial and error.

I did not understand what the letters F and C mean next to the classes. I did not understand what is the difference between mage, archer and warrior, as they seem to have the same stats.

Things that happen in the dungeon seem unpredictable, so it is hard to understand what am I supposed to do. Seeing you party collecting a lot of loot feels good, though.

Thank you for this feedback!

The F and C stand for Food and Cost, they indicate how much food will be consumed each turn and what the initial cost is to add a party member. I will update the description to make this clearer!

At the moment the only difference between the classes is the amount of initial life and food consumed. I intended to implement a basic rock-paper-scissor battle component, but I ran out of time in the gamejam; I will be adding this in the future!

decently fun little game, It took me abt 5 minutes, so I still didn't entirely understand the game when i'd won lol. graphics and music's great, mood is nice, it does give good medieval vibes, gameplay is it's shortcoming I think, it would have benefitted from a tutorial and having more to do.
Overall, decent job, well done!

Developer

You bring up a good point with the tutorial! I intend to update a little the game, and introducing a tutorial run could definitely improve the experience.

I’m glad you like the atmosphere! :)
