I can't get any of the webXR games to work (using SteamVR / Index). Steam just gets stuck in "up next"

Developer

Hmm yeah I haven't had much luck with Chrome talking to SteamVR. (I use Virtual Desktop with the standalone Pico headset, Chrome can talk to VD.) Did the Windows build work for you?

Haha, that was great! I laughed outloud a whole bunch of times :-) This had a feeling like "What the bat", especially as the things evolved (like with the moon), and a little bit of Superhot vibes (the in-between area) in the last puzzle. Anyway, wonderfully done! A perfect take on the theme

(It's also always great to see a WebXR entry :-))

That was good fun, the babies were hilarious. Very nice entry!

Fun concept, and satisfying puzzles. It helped re-enforce my life choices to not be a professional baseball pitcher, bowler, or have twins.

Simple concept but really fun! I screamt YEAH! a few times when I cleared the level. I don’t have much room to play around with at all but I still managed most of the levels without any problems (at least not any problems from me having to move around).

I think you should have showed how to recalibrate already in the first level and not in the second. Great that you added the opportunity to skip a level! For the skipping/quitting/calibrating you could have had some progress circle but that is more like a cherry on the top :)

The game really had me to stretch in a few levels but I was so glad that any time I cleared a level and it was very satisfying to twist the key and hear the door opening. I like that you introduced some new mechanics like throwing. The bowling balls were also really fun, thought they would be a lot more trickier but managed in my third throw and it felt so good!

The only level I could not beat was the last one. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone else but I tried a few stuff and at the end thought that I probably needed to look out the window or something. I saw the video that Copper Tunic posted and I got a bit angry with myself that I did not figure it out… But I skipped that one and got the sign at least haha.

Oh I almost forgot the babies! I wonder, did you have to look at the babies or was it just keeping the pacifier in their mouths. I initially thought that I had some problem with the tracking maybe but I managed.

I would be down to play some more levels in the future :) Favourite one so far

Thanks for the detailed notes!

The calibration doesn't happen on the first level because it doesn't change the height or distance. But yeah I guess if you aren't centered properly then it can still be necessary.

The babies is probably the most janky - yes you do kind of need to be looking right in the center for it to trigger, which is simply a consequence of how camera-based tracking works (if the cameras can't see the controllers, then it will lose tracking).

Thanks for playing!

I haven’t had a chance to play every entry yet, but this one is my favourite so far! I loved the creativity in the puzzles and the physicality of it.

Very nice game, very well done.
Glad I didn't have twins. ;)

I really liked this one, very creative.

The only bad thing is the nightmare I will have this night dreaming with those babies!

Developer(+1)

Sorry about those babies! My poor attempt at sculpting in Blender did not pay off, I should have just got MPFB to make some babies...

The interactions in this game feel pretty nice. I especially loved taking the moon shot!

P.S. I hope you can check out my game too!

I spent way too long trying to do things that weren't intended, sorry!

Thankyou so much for taking the time to record and post this video! I'm glad you enjoyed it, except for the bowling level, which I am sorry about. (I agree you were robbed several times, I could not believe how quickly those keys closed when you hit them in close succession, I wonder if there is a bug.)

Unfortunately there is no way to get into orbit around the moon - the gravity just linearly drags the ball towards the moon, it isn't a point gravity source (I tried that and it made it harder to actually hit the moon). But it was nice to see you theorizing about it - something I have been thinking about a lot on my main project but not something I had time to explore much here.

Also nice to hear a fellow Aussie accent. Cheers!

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I wont lie, when i first saw the visuals, I thought this game wouldn't be that good. I was completely wrong. The game perfectly shows what the player should do. I was only confused on the ones that are more like riddles. The game uses the player's physical body extremely well, giving me quite the stretch during it. Great game!
