Great job, I loved the art, especially the buttons for the keys.
I really appreciated the work you put into accessibility! I feel like most games just ignored that category, or did only a little bit. Meanwhile you had mappable controls, a jump sensitivity, and level select even when you haven't completed previous levels (so you can effectively skip a hard level). There was one minor oversight: in the settings menu you have one option that can't be reached by keyboard (only mouse): the option to reveal the secret key combos. Also, when you close the settings menu you go back to the main menu, so someone could be really close to ending a level, go to change the settings, and then have to start all over!
This is the most original puzzle game I've played in a while and the little dude is v cute!
Would love to see more of this world.
Great integration of the theme with game mechanics. I’m not a huge fan of platformers but I enjoyed playing this one.
Love the graphics as well.
Great job!
Loved this! (to be honest, I couldn't pass many of the challenges presented, and cranked the jump force to over 9000.)
Thank you for the level select feature, allowing me to experience all the levels you made!
Finding hidden rooms was my favourite part! (Do you have an AnimationPlayer for this fade effect handling vision?)
Great work!
Great little game! I really liked how this played. May be the best of the games that used the "keys are missing" theme, of which there were surprisingly many (although note I haven't played them all yet :P). Creative level design and the various mechanics worked extremely well together. Likely will continue playing it until I can beat it.
Nice art style.
I was a bit confused, the first time I got a special key, then went to the settings, because the textbox said something like that, then realized I had to start the level again from the beginning. But once I figured out how to use them the special key where a glorious addition to the gameplay.
When walking between different tiles (the black boxes and the brown bricks) I got stuck sometimes, when I did not jump. Would be nice if I could just walk across them. Also the walking distances where a bit long sometimes, especially when I hat to restart a level a few times.
But those are minor points. All in all, this is a really enjoyable game with very well designed levels. Congrats on this great entry!
Great interpretation of the theme. I'm a sucker for extra collectibles so it was a nice touch for a game jam. The controls felt a bit clunky, especially the jump. If it can help, this video shows some tricks for a better game feel in platformers: Some platformer video (ignore the video titlebait name :D )
I really like the game. The art style was nice and the mechanic was a pretty interesting one. I do think the pace was quite slow and the beginning, and I felt it was taking quite a while to get where I needed to go. Overall it was a pretty nice, game.
Cute concept for a puzzle platformer, it's a very calm and relaxing game and well executed.
I liked this a lot actually, the concept was very good. I do wish the levels were a bit less linear (like there's really only one way you can go at ay given point, not too much guessing or exploring required). Overall, pretty solid.
It's a good idea for a puzzle game with a good bit of content for a jam game. I enjoyed looking for the hidden orb thingies and got them all by the end! I did encounter a few bugs (like sometimes getting stuck at a ledge and needing to jump, even though it's a flat plane), but not any game breaking ones.
I had a few problems getting the key combinations to work. Especially the second one was more luck than skill for me. It was also frustrating, that I have to return to the menu, memorize the combination and then replay half of the level. But aside from that, I enjoyed it!
The music was nice and chill, but overstayed its welcome at the end a bit.
