I loved the game, it was very nice! The chicken seemed a bit buggy, though that may just be me. I would recommend just making the camera a child of the chicken, though you may have done that already. I also didn't really see how it fit the theme, though that might just be because I am stupid lol. Overall pretty solid game dude!

I loved the game! It was really really cool. It was a bit confusing figuring out how to climb though. Sometimes I could, sometimes I couldn't. Other than that, I loved it. The music was great, the sounds were great, all of it! Keep up the good work!

The game was pretty fun! I think it could use a bit of work, but I enjoyed what you have so far! The little game thing on the computer seemed a little off, and I never knew what it was gonna count. I kind of figured it out, but it was still a bit confusing. I can't wait to see more though! The idea was great and I loved the game once I got the hang of everything! :D

I really like the game. The art style was nice and the mechanic was a pretty interesting one. I do think the pace was quite slow and the beginning, and I felt it was taking quite a while to get where I needed to go. Overall it was a pretty nice, game.

A lot of play testers found the game quite short, so I figured I wouldn't add it. I was also only given a short amount of time to release the game, so I didn't have time to add that. I plan on including that in the next update though, as well as expanding the game itself. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it :D!

Yeah, that was not intentional. I accidentally made the player's range way too short. I have that fixed, and it will be part of the next release (I want to expand the game a bit before uploading anything else).

This game was made in a short period of time for an itch.io game jam, so please forgive my mistakes. I am currently working on expanding this games, fixing bugs, and making the game a little more fair for the player. Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it.

Hopefully, and I will be sure to stay updated. Good luck, and have fun!

Yeah, I have a few recommendations.  HeartBeast has some amazing tutorials on YouTube, and I would definitely recommend checking him out. I learned Godot by following his platformer tutorial, but I heard his RPG tutorials were great too. Try not to stick to the tutorials too much though, experimenting will really help you to learn. It will help test if you actually understand what's going on. If you are new to game development, remember to start small, there's no reason to get too stressed before getting anywhere. Good luck with your development!

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I do not plan on expanding on this game, but I will be sure to keep that in mind in the future. Also, I use the Gogot game engine for development.

Thanks for the input! This game was made in a little less than a month for the Secret Santa game jam, which isn't too much time at all. I definitely plan on improving everything that the game is lacking. Your input is appreciated, and I will be sure to take it into consideration for further development. Thanks!

Thanks!

currently my emotions. aren’t working properly (they tend to do that a lot not sure why) but this comment made me unreasonably happy so. thank you so much !!

Thank you!!

Thanks for the input! The game did get a bit difficult and tedious at times, sorry about that. I plan on possibly expanding this game and making it a lot better, so I really appreciate feedback like this!

Cool nice. Nice, simple, and great mechanics. I love it, and honestly I don't have much to say in terms of suggestions. Overall it's just a great game.

I liked it. I'm not too sure what the point of waking up was, though. I couldn't tell if it was random or based on in-game events. It would have been great if this was better communicated to the player in some way. Other than that, I loved it a lot! It was a great game and an amazing concept.

Music would have been nice. Also, all the times I played seemed the same. Are the enemies supposed to spawn the same way each game? That was kind of confusing. Other than those things, great game! It was interesting and diverse, I really liked it.

The game was pretty interesting, but my controls suddenly stopped working. It may have been a problem on my end, and I will treat it as if it were on my end for rating, but I wanted to make you all aware just in case it wasn't. Some background music would have been nice too, but other than that the game was pretty cool.

I was trying to left click, and it would almost never let me shoot. I am not too sure why, but this really took a lot away from the games enjoyment.  Not being able to shoot made the game quite difficult. The concept was great though, and it fit perfectly with the limitation and theme. The game was still playable too, so there isn't too much to worry about. Overall a pretty solid game.

A few things. First, there is no music. The scene feels empty because of this, even with everything else going on. Second, you should add some bounce to the items. Even if it is just a few pixels, it will really bring the game to life. Third, and final, suggestion, fix the collision boxes for items. I'm not exactly sure where they are, but I've missed them multiple times walking completely through items. Other than these things, great game! I really did enjoy it.

This was actually really fun, but a bit difficult. Maybe make the sheep stay in the box afterwards, so they can't escape. But other than that, I loved it! It was amazing, great work.

The game itself is great. Its simple, but nice. Graphics are good too. Only problem is, there is still some text. You have the zs at the beginning and ones on the coins, which doesn't exactly fit the limitation.

I forgot to remove the quit button. It's not going to work in a web game, and causes. issues. Sorry about that ... Do not press it. Please.

Alright, thanks for the info!

How are we supposed to submit when we are done? Is it supposed to be in-browser, and do we need anything other than the game?

the theme is only a suggestion. there is also a limitation that gets announced when the jam starts. hope this helps

yes, but the theme is optional. there is a required limitation that will be announced when the jam starts

you'll be alright! remember, try not to go too big, you only have 72 hours. going too big will be really stressful, and you can always finish the game after the jam if you want to expand on it. im sure you know what your doing, but i wanted to share because that advice wouldve really helped me in my first jam!
