Now I know why the site is called ITCH... :D

I really enjoyed this. Amusing art, good sound effects. I particularly like the mosquito flight pattern--you really nailed that.

My only suggestion for improvement would be that there doesn't seem to be much progression from one scene to the next.

Thanks! I will let you in on a little secret (not really though since the code is public on GitHub): the mosquito flight pattern is simply the result of two random number generators.

It really says something about the power of the human mind to look for patterns when I personally wrote the code but still start thinking "the mosquito changed direction because I missed the slap!"

That's pretty funny. :)  At the end of the day, though, that mosquito seems to move like a real mosquito, and that's what really matters. (Hey, maybe real mosquitoes use the same code posted on GitHub, too!)

This girl has too many mosquitoes. cute idea.

Funny and relatable game. The best way to win is to slap frantically at everything around you, just like real life!

Developer

Panic flailing is the key to success! Just like real life!

My reflexes are slow! Loved the idea and artwork though. Sadly never saw the "win" screen. Not fast enough!

Developer

Oh no! Keep trying, some nights will have less mosquitoes than others... Just like real life...

You can also play on your phone if you find tapping to be easier than clicking!

The game was pretty interesting, but my controls suddenly stopped working. It may have been a problem on my end, and I will treat it as if it were on my end for rating, but I wanted to make you all aware just in case it wasn't. Some background music would have been nice too, but other than that the game was pretty cool.

Thank you! I think ct.js games can have an issue if you move the mouse outside of the game area. Not sure how to fix that unfortunately

I love the idea.  I had a hard time figuring out what the scoring mechanism was.

thanks, it's random.... Just like real life....
