Very well put together! Controls can be a bit annoying - would've loved to be able to rotate the dice with Q and E for example, instead of the arrow keys, or hold Shift and use WASD, to prevent having to go back and forth from WASD to arrows all the time, but that's really my only nitpick. Clever puzzles and a unique take on the theme!

A really neat little game. I remember seeing this on GMTK's stream, so seeing it in the Post Jam Productions server was a nice surprise. It's very well made, and I think it's one of the better designed puzzle games of the jam. Reminds me a bit of the ReThink series. I also had the framerate issues the previous comment mentioned, though I'm not entirely sure why (I had assumed it was a high refresh rate monitor thing, but now I'm not sure). I also found the controls for rotating to be awkward, and I feel like there should be a better solution. Still, I had fun with this game.

Also, are we playing as a child? The camera height compared to things like the tables and shelves seems really low, which makes me feel like I'm either really short or a child in this game.

thank you ! Funny how I never saw a size problem until you told me x) now I can't unseen it haha. Controls are indeed the main problem with optimization and as I will continue to work on the game, this is the first thing I will fully rework !

Nice work on this! I really liked the overall atmosphere and feel of the game. :) The puzzle idea felt unique, and I liked that there was some variety around certain dice not having all the numbers, etc. The dice placement / column button was a bit finicky at times, but not too bad.

Nicely done! :D

Developer

Thank you !!! In the next few month the game is going to be release on steam so you are going to see more special faces and more mechanisms !

Looks like a fairly unique take on the theme, and I enjoyed the puzzles.

The only issue I had with it was framerate, and it's weird because my GPUs utilization (I have a laptop with an integrated and a discrete GPUs) was about 4% the whole time. Perhaps it was doing too much of moving stuff from/to VRAM, I dunno.

But framerate issues aside, the game looks and sounds great, very solid entry!

Developer

THank you for play the game and giving feedbacks! Yeah optimization problem comes from a mistake on the lights, without this the game run very well on any pc, sadly we discover this too late ^^

Pretty cool puzzle game! I enjoyed the iteration on the theme using the dice as lasers. Unfortunately, much like many of the other commenters, I was also plagued with a low framerate that could probably be fixed with some better optimization. Outside of that though, if you give it a couple more passes and polish things up, this could definitely shape up to be a very fun game!

Not bad at all! Laser puzzles are pretty common, but the addition of the dice and how you have to face them different ways, combine them with other ones, that made it enjoyable.

Cool idea for a puzzle game, and looks pretty neat! The die's orientation seemed to be reset when I picked it up from the pole, if it stayed the same I could look at it when it's on the pole and then pick it up to make corrections, rather then having to start anew. Aiming at the right spot to place or pick up the dice was a bit finicky. For me the game ran very poorly, felt like 5 fps.

Developer

Totally agree with the dice reset issue. At first time I tough it would me easier to restart from the start to find the good rotation but I was terribly wrong x) sorry for the bad optimization. Thank you for playing and your feedbacks !

Very good game. I would have liked to have my grab reach a little further.

What a great little puzzle game! Good use of the theme too! I will say that it feels like this might've been easier to control had it been a more classic puzzle game interface. For example something isometric or top-down where you can just drag and drop things with the mouse. I didn't quite see a lot of mechanics that really warranted the first-person view. That said I still had a lot of fun with it and I think you could definitely expand this a bit and release it as a fun puzzle game. Really good job!

Thank you for this very encouraging feedback ! totaly agree with it !

A very cool idea utilising the sides of the dice! Pretty creative. It looks nice at first, but it's a bit laggy for me for some reason.

Submitted(+1)

Good concept, but it was lagging on my computer, I don’t know why. It's hard to see what are the faces of the dice, and we should be able to turn the dice when it’s already on the stand.

The game looks and sounds great! I wasn't totally sure how to control the path of the laser until I read the game's actual itch page, but after reading those instructions everything made sense. The puzzles weren't too difficult, but I felt like that contributed to a calm atmosphere.

Cool. Haven't seen this idea before. These were all still on easy side. Would have love to see more rooms like the last one, were each die has only one correct pedestal to put it on. It was already pointed out, but the controls could have been better. Other than that very well executed.

Super kool lighting work done here. I had a fun time playing through it. The puzzle aspect of the game was also really cool. the only part of the game which felt a bit repetitive was the music, but other than that, Really great work for a game done in 2 days. Great entry!!

"Laser puzzle but using the face of a dice" is a surprising interpretation of the theme for me!

But maybe it needs some extra puzzle depth and that 3D is head-scratching...

The game looks so cool judging by the art and gameplay trailer, I'm sad I can't try it for myself because it runs at 2FPS in my computer.

Sorry for the poor optimization :/i will pay more attention next time

Well definitely an interesting twist on mirror puzzles.  Not entirely what I was expecting, but was a fun game to play through.  I wills ay there was not a lot of feedback though.

For example clarification on which side was outputting, how the buttons fully worked etc. it was a little vague sometimes and I feel like maybe having the emitter be a different color could help with that or something similar.

Also one other thing I would say is that the dice were quite big when picked up which was a little hard to then check their sides where moving them around.  I think maybe making them get added to a bag or something similar that you can pull them out and rotate normally could help.  Although it depends.

Speaking rotating normally I ddi mention it while I was playing but for reference I think maybe having the control scheme for rotating them be Q/E for rotating the die left and right and scroll wheel for forward and backward.  It's a little more moving a round, but I feel like it would allow easier messing with it.  Though that may just be me, and it may still be worth keeping the current one and allowing for both.

The controls had their issues, but other than that, it was a cool puzzle game, with a very nice ambientation

Developer

Thank you for playing ! controls are on the "need to be fixed list" :)
