Pretty good story and design. The game is just really cool. Great game!

To be honest, I really don't like reading long passages and descriptions… Which is why I'm super glad your game avoided that! The story is fast-paced and in medias res, I really enjoyed it! I may have not got to a happy ending, but it sure was fun trying the different options and feeling the risk. Nicely done :)!

this is a really unique entry that has a hotshot casino-going western badass vibe to it- nice job!  The sound design is phenomenal and does a lot to enhance the story.  I like how the theme came up in the bank lobby where you're given the odds of the robber's revolver being empty.  Great work!

While I think that killing people who are washing their hands is not the best message to be sending to pandemic society :D  I loved the game aesthetics, and who doesn't enjoy choosing their own destiny?! SUPER CUTE!

You nailed the aesthetic! The sounds and letters go well toghether, also having the main menu instantly tell me the controls in a way is smart!

Goodjob, loved the different outcomes and had having the character have a mask and choices makes me relate more and the character

Smart game, beatifull result!

very cool little story! i really liked your incorporation of the theme and it makes this one of the more unique entries. awesome job!

Yay, got to save the hostages with a sweet 1/6 roll of the (barrel) dice!

Thanks for the game, was really nice.

I myself thought about doing a text-based game, but I could never achieve such good results as you did!

I'll replay it just to see how everything ends differently :)

i like how the theme was incorporated in both the story and the mechanics. it seems like the player is at the mercy of rng but it's a visual novel after all. good job!

A good interactive adventure game. Arts in this game is very simple but you used very effectively. I like it. ^^

Hey I save the day because I rolled the dice!!

Really cool! I enjoyed that quite a bit. The dialogue was quite humorous and kept me engaged. Also really small quality of life thing but thank you so much for letting us get through the text quickly. Makes it a lot easier going through several playthrough!

Anyways well done one making this! A very good unique take on the jam theme!!

I like interactive story type of game, and yours story is well written , I think colored graphics would have been better choice but there are time constraints so no issue.

I didn't expect to see any choose your own adventure type games, but this was super neat! Reminded me of coming up w lil stories w my friends as a kid.

I went to clear out the bathroom, and I got stabbed while washing my hands lol. Idk why, but that got a chuckle out of me. Keep up the good work!

I really like the style and creativity you've got going on here! I couldn't seem to get the game to play fullscreen, though I'm not sure if that's just a me problem.

If you've got a minute, I'd really appreciate if you're able to check out my game as well :-)

Developer

If you hit ESC it should go full screen! And I've added your game to my queue!

An amazing little game! I won on my first try and spent some time exploring the other endings. My only suggestion is an endings earned counter on the main menu so the player knows how much more there is to explore still. Other then that phenomenal game with a great sense of humor. Arguably one of my favorites of the jam!

Developer(+1)

There something tracking the endings actually! That's what the 12 squares and their icons are on the left hand side of the start screen, each icon represents a different ending or achievement

That's cool! I didn't realize that while playing for some reason!

When I first went through I thought that was it but after playing again. you provided many options that weren't just death route. Fun story and art.

Very fun. I chose to save the hostages, went through the back entrance, tasered a guard, stopped for some ice cream, contemplated life, and then got stuck in a window until law enforcement came.

Dear Zachary Fox!

You proved us with nice storytelling and well-done and stylized art.  I died, got stuck, befriend a robber and played gems to go on my phone. But in the end, I freaking rock and ROLLED!

Thank you and keep having fun with game jams!

Nice game, with good replay value too. I like the idea of a choose your own adventure with random outcomes for each event, good job!
