Just looking at the screenshot, I couldn’t figure out how to move the snake in 3D. However, after playing it, I though the coordinate system was brilliant. Good job.
This game perfectly combines the coordinate system with the gameplay of Snake. It excels in creativity, music, and style.
Very neat and beautiful game ^.^
(The crystals are hard to see at some point, because the snake is not transparent)
Very well done in 48 hours!
3D OUROBOROS LETS GO!
the snake game is good and classic idea, and I forget snake game have built to scale theme, keep going!!.
Really cool concept and well-polished game
The camera is quite janky tho, but overall a really impressive game for 48hrs
Great game! It's incredibly polished and very impressive for a game jam!
It's a very cozy game, my only issue with it is the camera, it works well at the beginning, but at some point, the crystals spawn at points that are completely covered and impossible to see. I think having a secondary free cam would have solved this.
I still had a lot of fun! Congrats!
What a mind boggling game. I really like the idea! + the style and controls feel very polished. 10 / 10
I really like this version of snake. Its more relaxing and I think it fits the jam perfectly! Great job on the the coding, the game felt solid and I can see how you can expand on a game like this in the future.!
A bit dubious how it fits the theme....
but aside from that, very good job making controlling a snake in 3d space feel intuitive
I really like this! The games controls are a tad bit difficult, but estimating where you are going to end up while trying to not collide with yourself is really fun! I wish you could change the camera angles up and down as well to make it more easier to see, or maybe the axis of movement appearing at the side you are on, but those are relatively minor nitpicks
This is executed brilliantly, cleverly done!
This game was really cool! I honestly thought the game was just basic snake but slower, but when the third axis was introduced... well i hope this one is a winner cuz it deserves a win.
correct me if im wrong but does the gem count stop at 14? cuz after that i couldnt see any more gems.
also maybe a little background would be nice, just like plaid or some dreamworld-esque design/slow-scrolling pattern going on in the back, cuz the empty void feels kinda... empty.
unless that was intended. if so then this is an amazing game and you should be proud of yourself!
Thank you for such generos feedback. I did check if gem spawn inside snake, but it still can do that. So added 'press mouse wheel' to roll it again. Sorry for the issue. BG had some engine issue so I keep it just black.
oh thats understandable, a void bg works well too! (for a game jam)
Nice graphics and cube style!
pretty cool game. I wish you could control the camera with the arrow keys or something.

The controls feel a little loose, I don't like how the camera follows the mouse: It's slightly nauseating. I also wish I could lower the viewport to be able to see underneath, and better judge the distance. For a jam game, you should have made the volume slightly smaller, so that it would take less time to fill the space and force tricky decisions. Those are my only critiques. Great concept, Nice visuals, and great execution. I give it an all around four stars!
I think this is how snake should be implemented in VR.
Gonna wait till Constuct 3 add VR support. :^) Thank you!
Very relaxing, didnt expect to see snake this way! Nice work
Very chill game with a nice ambient vibe. I think the experience could benefit from the camera zooming out a bit further in 3D mode or the camera follow being a little stiffer.
Thank you for the kind words! I will tune the camera after Jam.
verry good game, realy liked it. tho the camera is not perfect
