Cool art and dying animation, and yeah, doom is really a timeless classic! Some comments :

  • I felt like the running speed could have been the default speed because walking was a tad slow
  • the enemies’ hitbox were very small which mad them very hard to hit, I had to get very close to them to hit them (if it’s intended then cool!)

Little philosophical experience hehe.

I like the idea of interpreting the theme as “timeless classics”. I couldn’t finish pacman though, I ate all the pallets and it wouldn’t let me go to the next level.

re-reading what you said actually gave me an idea. I’ll see if I can implement it smartly but one upgrade could raise the maximum amount of spams, and it could then start at say, 100

Hey! thank you for your feedback! I tried my best to balance the game since it actually was too hard to play at first, but it effectively ended up too easy! my significant other suggested that when your framerate becomes < 5 you win the game, but it doesn’t really fix the problem since as you said, the strategic “roguelike” element is lost in the cheer number of spams lol. I don’t really know how to fix it as of now though but don’t hesitate to pitch ideas! ^^

my best score is 148 seconds for now

My strategy is to build walls with one exit around the castle (basically a labyrinth)

your game is very fun and I liked it a lot, although you should put a warning for epilepsia!

More seriously, it’s a very simple concept, but it’s satisfying. the game needs upgrades! like automatic cat placement at random spots, or dog detection lol

Very cute looking game! It’s cool that you can farm, but as others mentioned, it’s not exactly clear what you’re supposed to do once you harvested your crops!

The concept in itself is great and I like how it looks a bit like papers please, but I feel like there is no real way to tell what to do with what mail, and when you make a mistake, it’s not quite clear why its a mistake. Other than that, the game seems quite polished and the theme and object are well implemented!

I’m not a sucker for scary games and this one felt a bit scary for some reason :3 otherwise, it’s cool that you made your game 3D and the lighting gave a nice touch to the game. You should add an indicator for where the pc is because it was hard to avoid them when they were near. Keep going!

Cool game! I like bullet hell games. Although at some point, I think I need to click somewhere but I’m not able to because my computer mouse gets out of the screen before the game mouse can reach the icon

Very beautiful game, the music really made the combat stimulating! The camera was a bit confusing but not to the point that I didn’t like the game

They are not supposed to spawn when you are too close to their burrow! I’ll look into that!

The spawn rate remains the same as far as I know, but there is no spawn limit xD so you get a whole bunch of spam at some point

Cool idea! I don’t think I saw one game that uses the concept of “snake eating its own tail” in the jam, yet it feels very natural!
