Hey thats a really great take on the theme! Very clever. Pretty cool too how you can kinda dodge the claw and have it grab the other plushies! The humans got a bit tricky later and I wonder if their hitbox might be slightly off? On the last level I would hide before or after I was out of their silhouette but still would get caught. Also do you lose when they see you because it's like Toy Story and they can't see you alive?? (sorry if that was in the story, I just forgot if so)

Anyways though very cool and great work on this!!

I really like the concept, very creative! I wish the claw behavior was a little bit more challenging, but I had a lot of fun playing. Great job!

An interesting game. The claw didn't ever become much of a challenge, though. I also didn't realize you could unbury whenever at first, though other people have already said that. The art is cute! Nice work overall.

Hey, didn't get a chance to play your game bc of Godot 4 not letting Mac users play web builds :(

Our team ran into the same issue, and we were testing on Mac, so we thought it didn't work at all and didn't push a web build. You might want to put a little disclaimer on the game page for Mac users!

Good luck with the jam! The art looks SOO good, I feel like I'm missing out on a lot :)

Hey! So actually, if you wait long enough it'll load, I promise! I use Mac as well! Just a game of patience 😅

O. M. G. You're right!!! I'm just an impatient person I guess :) And I was right, I was missing out on a lot! Loved the art, and I love the little touch of the arm also freezing mid-game with you as if the arm was also sentient and watching for humans (I only ducked when humans came). The last level was pretty hard, but in the sweet spot for the difficulty curve: great job on tuning that! I kinda ran around the middle platform, the edges seemed to be just far enough apart where the arm would go up between the two spots. Other strategies I found involved jumping, which on the later levels caused me to get grabbed or not be on the ground for when humans came :O

Great game! Thanks for letting me know it just took a while too, I woulda missed this!

Thank you for waiting!! And thank you for the comments! :)

A bit too easy to cheat the claw, but otherwise a really fun concept!

It took me a while to figure out you could unbury at will and not just wait for the meter to empty. ^^

Only bad point in the presentation: the font on the opening and end screens is a bit difficult to read. But apart from that, the game's design is pretty, and the plushies are adorable!

Great job! =D

Fun and imaginative use of the theme - being picked up and dropped into the abyss was truly macabre, contrasting with the cuteness of the plushies. You really managed to communicate what it must be like on The Other Side!

I love the art style of the game! I felt bad for all of the plushies :(

One thing I noticed was that unburrowing was a little difficult! Is it just about waiting for the bar to empty?

Nice concept!

I'm pretty sure you can just press the down button again, if that helps.

Fun concept! The main crane didn't seem to be much of a threat however, and the human somehow managed to kill me while I was hiding which was strange.

The idea of being the plushie is such a fun idea!

The controls are straightforward enough for the game. Though I wish the claw wasn't so easily cheesed.

Love this concept! You made 90% of the claw machine experience (not getting anything) the fun part! Bravo!

Although the claw was pretty easy to juke, this was still pretty tough, yet fun and engaging

No jank in the mechanics, great tunes and  things got harder JUST at the times  I thought the challenge  over.

Very good!

Interesting and cute! I wonder if the other plushies get picked up if at all.

Being the plushie inside the claw machine is such a cool idea!
And it was well executed too. Love the pixel art and the music!
The difficulty was just right for me as well. In level 4 I thought I had discovered a winning strategy by walking left and right on the pipe thing in the middle and only ducking for humans.
I'm glad my strategy failed in level 5, because the game is way more fun without cheesing it!

Oh those damn humans.. grrr I kept losing for the humans.
Good game idea, although the claw was always retreating when i press a moving key, so it may be a bit too easy when we have just the claw.

Still, good job & thanks for the game!

Simple concept but really engaging! Great job! Damn humans ahaha

Great little game overall, but the movement was the star for me, it is so fluid, I love it. The "Human Incoming" caught me offgaurd even though I read the description before starting. Really fun game!
