Beautiful heartwarming game. Almost gave me the teary eyes! <3
Well done, good job!
I loved the 3D art style, not common in game jams but very well executed. It is a pretty cute & cozy puzzle game, with the music very relaxing. I liked how you introduced the mechanics little by little before the grand opening. I would have liked the difficulty to scale a little bit faster after that (for jam version fewer levels but increasing challenge is nice because I don't usually want to spend more than 10 minutes playing a game, to give other games a try)
Really good job anyways, I liked it :D
I love a good chess based game! Really liked your game idea, the dialogs with the shop owner when I don't have enough money ahah. Clean visual and audio! The itch page is a wonder too.
I would have liked to move a bit more freely between each stage since it is a bit tedious as it is now but overall, liked the CHAOS ahah. Good job!
Good execution of the "play against your past selves" idea for the loop theme. I made a second run so hard to beat that I had to give up x) I have the feeling that you are not rewarded to be good on early stages of the game. Maybe something to add up on version 2.0 ? Otherwise great game I had fun :D
Thank you for your feedback, and sorry you lost but don't worry you are not the only one that have been defeated by these damn foxes ahah.
The issue you are talking about was a choice when releasing the game for the jam because we did not want the player to feel like he lost his retreat for this level without clicking on the button. It will be added in the post jam version because you are not the only one to find it weird.
Really cool idea! I liked the fact that you could put two actions in one color and change them while the game progresses. I think I understand why you had to reset the character position to the checkpoint at every change in the level (I am guessing moving platforms timing were the issue). However as a player it feels kinda weird and you want to see your guy continue running as you edit the level.
Very good entry! Thanks for the game
