How does your game fit the theme?
On a humdrum level, you play the kidnapped princess instead of the hero. On a slightly less humdrum level, you want to avoid coins instead of collecting them.

Excellent presentation and pixel art, I'm a sucker for good pixel art (if my own game didn't give that way).  The coin avoidance was an unique twist that game the game more of it's own identity.

Short but sweet, controls are rather floaty but its a generally enjoyable experience nonetheless.

Nice game! controls needs to be improved a little bit (more juyciness) but overall you made a good job!!!

So lovely game, the animation is so good...

Glad the main character is a rich princess, otherwise I would risk my life to take the coins, come on there are so many of it I can't let them go

Very creative! I loved the sprite work used and only wished there was more of it to play!

I thought the role reverse was playing the princess and I wasnt expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. Good gameplay loop, and good execution for a game jam

I liked the idea of reversing the most common concept in platformers aka trying to get all the collectibles. Good game!

Great concept, very polished jumps/animation/and audio! (caught a bit of stereo in there too ;)  )

Really cool idea!

Fun little concept and great execution. Some jumps are abit challenging, but all in all cool game.

Very tricky! I like the use of inertia as a mechanic. It makes the platforming more interesting. It’s a fairly simple game, but very well polished. Great job!

SUCH a pretty game with a cute concept for the whole role reversal. There was a bit of a drift when it came to the main character, and I do wish she jumped a lil higher,  BUT it all made for  a really nice challenge. Awesome game!

Cool gimmick where you can't pick up the coins, when you normally can. Do wish it was faster to reset when you lose.

It looks gorgeous, and I love the dragon's reaction to you picking up a coin. Just great.

Submitted(+2)

This is going to sound daft but the dragon opening its eye after you pick up a coin is one of the coolest things I've seen in this entire Jam.

Oh wow with custom music? Everything fits very neatly together. I like the tongue-in-cheek moment you pick up the first coin. Cool art and music, feels like a higher resolution gameboy experience!

Music & art are top-notch! The gameplay is a bit too heavy/stiff to feel confortable to play however :/ I would have loved to be able to quick restart to play again without waiting :)

Very cool idea! I love LOVE the animations you’ve made, and driann’s music is very catchy, but the lack of checkpoints is giving me a hard time. It doesn’t have to be very often, but having to start all over when making a single mistake can be frustrating. Otherwise the gameplay is simple and fun! The coins deciding to crawl around platforms and act as fire beams is especially funny. Great job!

Such a good game in such a short time, kudos to everybody involved with this! I really love the old school vibe in it mixed with an original concept

Throughtfully designed and fun platformer. The twist on the coin mechanic was well done.

Additionally, the color palette & art were very charming.

Good job!
