trippy,
you made a game in 12 hours, that's impressive. Maybe i was lucky but i ended up at the button in a couple of minutes (without knowing much of what i was doing)
Wonky controls check!
Wonky sound effects check!
Very cool mechanic check!
The game was cool. I just faced some performance issues in some places. But it felt really nice.
Cool game!
Cool idea! Sticking stuff on your vehicle is neat. I think the controls are a bit too wonky for my liking, even if that's the point.
Great style although, you did a lot artistically with basic assets.
Nice game! I think it would've been useful if there was some indication of where the button is
Nice colorful artstyle and chaotic gameplay! I don’t actually consider hard controls as a shortcoming in this case, it’s kind of fun to try to navigate around the level despite being bombarded with trash! Though lags are noticeable later in the game, they don’t prevent you from finishing the game.
I really tried to understand what i was suppose to do, but i really don't get it :/
The idea of getting destroyed and adding new things to your vehicle is very original and creative. The controls also does getting harder. The only problem i had was to find, which the goal was or where the "shutoff" button was.
I love the idea of additional parts being glued onto your ship (so much so in fact, that it was also the idea behind my own game!), but here it just feels really impossible to control
I can see the potential, but I feel like there’s no need to struggle that much in the first minutes of the game 😂
I really like the concept, but I feel like the execution is lacking in areas that it doesn't need to. Simple changes like a wider field of view would make a big difference, and the lens distortion makes the game a little hard to look at for no reason whatsoever.
Really cool concept, it is however really laggy or frustrating when you spend more than 2-3 minutes in the game, maybe clear elements or reuse them to reduce the load could be helpful.
You're welcome :)
I don't think this is a main problem for a quick game of around 1 or 2 minutes, but if you get stuck or if you are lost (I get stuck in a corner for like 20-30 seconds and a lot of engines were placed all around my ship, which make it pretty frustrating to move around) the framerate can drop.
