Granny Gatling is the best :)

I lol'ed at the silliness on level 4 too.

Great work!

Absolutely hilarious game, I love cats and I love this game. The Audio and Visuals fit together nicely. The gameplay although hard, is very enjoyable ^^

The "Story" is so funny too, Shotgun Grandpa, Minigun Grandma, I laughed out loud when they showed up xD

Really nice game ^^

I see that cat walking is just as "easy" as bunny walking. Very amusing, hilarious and fun to play!

Thanks!

Great work guys, the concept is good, sfxs and music was good too, I don't know why I laughed xD on the first level when I saw people shooting towards me when I was with my cat but overall good work on this one :D

Definitely one of the most hilarious game ideas I've seen, and a really kinda annoying fun to try and defend this cat.  The thing does not care but everyone else kinda does.  Defending the cat was quite fun and... annoying, like I said, since the thing just goes everywhere.

The only real things I can say in terms of critique, would be more content, but jam game, and maybe some indication of where the cat is attempting to go?  Obviously a lot of the fun is just trying to follow him, but I feel like a bit more indication would be helpful.  Not sure what it could be but something?

Just spitballing tho.

Old man: *sees a kid walking his cat* So anyways, I started blasting

One of the best games I have seen in this jam!

The music really fits the vibe, the concept is unique and fun, the presentation is great and the gameplay is genuinely fun! I really like the transition screen as well!

If I were to suggest one thing, then it would be to zoom in the camera towards the player a bit, because some portion of the camera is just showing grass, but it is just me nitpicking things.

Overall an awesome game! 5/5

Interesting game, I like the theme, it's so silly.

The cat is just being a cat and I can't figure out if it moves in a scripted path or randomly. From a game design point of view, I think a scripted path would be preferred as it would at least allow the player to learn the level over time.

The game becomes very difficult when the cat decides to go near a bunch of enemies or gets in between enemies and a hydrant and on the other hand, there are "boring" moments when the cat wanders far away from any threat but with no clear direction either.

The tug mechanic does not seem to have any effect on the cat, I did not really find any real use for it. It would be great if it at least steered the cat a little bit or something.

The art is simple but effective, even though it feels a bit inconsistent (the buildings are in a different style than the rest of the game), the music fits the game perfectly. I also like the sound effects and dubbing.

Overall, good job on finishing a game in such a short time, and thanks for the chuckles (neighbour with a Gatling, lol)!

Interesting game. Challenging but in a good way. Keep up the great work. Love the screen transitions.

I'll never get a cat after this.

Pretty good game, it was fun to play but also frustrating a bit.

Didn't finish it because the cat decided to suicide. :(

Well done! :)

Developer

Yeah that seems to be the most common feedback. Thanks though!

Very fun concept! My cat was out of control! Very suitable music and sounds!

Developer

Thanks!

Nice concept ! Escort missions are not my strong suit, so it was sometimes a bit frustrating to not be able to control the cat, but I fell like that's an accurate depiction of "taking a cat for a walk", and that's an original mechanic I didn't see anywhere else !

Really good entry, the tutorial was well-made and I loved the level transition animation =) ! Good job !

Developer

Hey, thanks a lot!

Love it! So realistic as to taking a cat for a walk! Also enjoyed the mashup of the genres. And I think this is one of the better interpretations of the tether mechanic! Great job!

Thanks a lot!

So.. who's the master here? lol

Great game! it's very satisfying to deflect the projectiles. It's funny that the one who tugs the rope is the cat.

Developer(+2)

You tug the rope, but it is not the cat who is pulled

Developer(+1)

Cat is stronk

Cat takes an extremely long amount of time to get anywhere but I guess that's the point lol. Really great game otherwise!

Developer

Thanks!

This is a true post-apocalypse simulator.

I think we can all say this needs more than 5 stars on originality and funny idea!

Nice game!  Music and sound effects are fun, cat is more well behaved than I expected

Submitted(+1)

Very cool idea but the cat AI can be annoying

Developer(+1)

Well it is a cat after all lol, but yeah it could have been a bit less back tracky

Developer(+1)

Couldn't be my fault

Developer(+1)

Blame the cat

This is what I'm doing from now on
