Such a fun and unique game, wish there was more.

Loaded with charm, the star of the show is definitely it's interesting rng mechanic. There's ton of potential in the rng manipulation thing, but sadly it's not quite as effectively explored here (understandable due to jam constraints).

Super looking forward to playing this again if it ever gets expanded on.

Yeah, really excited to deep dive into the RNG mechanic with different areas taking different approaches to their RNG, extra features which can be explored by combining the areas, a portable machine which tells you what the numbers are doing etc etc. As you can imagine with such little time both hosting and participating in the jam, there wasn't room for all that.

Thanks so much for your vote of confidence :~)

Game looks beautiful, it nailed the aesthetic of an old rpg classic por the Gameboy, as a learning pixelart artist for now I can only dream with those backgrounds.

The game is good in every aspect, I don’t know if it was me, but I managed to do the last puzzle by searching on the trash and hoping the number will come out and I didn’t like how I had to going back and forth three times doing the same thing. Again, for the rest, it’s a really good game and seems a real Gameboy game.

Beautiful graphics and music, the music takes me back to when i played the classic pokemon games on gameboy, and controlling the rng in a way is quite an interesting mechanic, great job!

Very interesting puzzle mechanic wrapped in delightfully written dialogue exchanges! The art captures the feeling of the Gameboy very well and the Dice Warriors game was a nice in-universe way to introduce a world defined by RNG. The end is implying there is more to come, and I would love to see this concept fleshed out!

As a speedrunner, I wish I could control the RNG that way in some games ! if only...
Pretty fun and original story, I enjoyed it.
You really captured the GB spirit with the look of your game, nice work
Good job on the game

Nicely done - very good old school Gameboy feel about it - really captures those old sprites and environments! Nice concept too!

Well you certainly rank near the top in GB authenticity! I really like the idea of a world where you can control randomness. Sad that the experience ended when it did. Art is great in this! The computer room at Randomlabs oozes nostalgia for me. Solid entry, albeit a little shorter than I would have liked (let me know when you've made the whole campaign ;) ). Nice work.

Super fun! Kinda wish it was a bit more random...

I rang the bell and was deeply unsatisfied by the pathetic blip that came out of it. Zero out of five audio!

(Just kidding. About the second part anyway.)

I was so ready for more when I beat the dice wars champion; ready to further my applications of the RNG manipulation. I was crushed to find out there was no more game left. Good job, Mr Ducks.

Nice story, I think it's original. As I mentioned in Discord, your pixel art is just too great,  I love it.

Good job!

The aesthetic here is great, and the satirical bit on RNG is really good. I love the concept of RNG in games and this really digs into it. There is something so comical to me about this town rolling all the same numbers, refusing to acknowledge luck and probability. The visuals say Pokemon but the absurdity and strangeness give me Earthbound vibes. Very cute.

Learning how the Fateloop works is interesting, though I am not sure I completely understand what's happening when you rummage through the bin next to the computer. The writing is cheeky and entertaining. Definitely a lot of narrative and comedic potential in pulling the strings of randomness in a rural RPG town setting, would love to see where the concept goes. Really nice!

I saw the concept for this game on the discord and couldnt wait to play it, i have always been one for a good puzzle game and this is one.

Really polished everything here. I played it on my Game Boy and managed to get to the end. The puzzle mechanics were satisfying, the graphics were awesome, I would love to hear more music if this turns into a full game. Really fun though!

Very cool idea! RNG manipulation as a game mechanic sounds really interesting to expand upon, it'd be nice to see you explore that idea further.

Very authentic presentation, excellent work!
