Great game! =D

Awesome entry! Loved everything about it: the palette, the crystal ball and the teleport mechanics, the sprites and tileset. Congratulations, Sparrow, I wish you keep working on this game after this jam is over. We deserve it :D

It's little bit complicate when first how to control crystal ball.

But once get used to it, it's really fun to make it through!

Really nice puzzle game. I think throwing the ball would have been more intuitive/fun, but I managed. :) Could have used something at the end to wrap it up rather than just putting a key in the door and it saying complete... Even if it was just another chest in a room where that happened, it'd feel less rushed. Nice art, but lack of audio.

Awesome graphics and the game mechanic is really interesting and fun! I could definitely see this being a full game with other interesting ways to use the crystal ball. Nice work.

Nice clean graphics and nice concept too, missed a bit of sound but nice work!

Pretty cool, the graphics are so beautiful!

Really great premise, could easily see this being expanded into a full-on zelda-esque game with lots of dungeons and spells. I would definitely keep working on it.

It would be nice if I could switch directions without having to release the direction I'm currently walking in

There's some good mechanisms here. I did get stuck a couple times, it feels like the ability to throw the ball would be helpful. But it's fun as-is, and mastering crystal ball combat seems like it would be very satisfying.

Lovely graphics, good game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

I liked the dungeon. This has potential to become a great game!

Loved the game! You really should keep working on it.

Sad you didn't get the time to add sound and stuff.

Really cool mechanics in there. I like how the crystal ball serves serveral purpose. Good job.

Some really cool ideas with the crystal ball, and the screen scroll and graphics feel very much like links awakening. I would have prefered 8 way movement like zelda, but i understand some games final fantasy restrict to 4 way. Sadly i got stuck early on behind a low wall and could get the ball over to teleport out. Some real potential here!

I like the concept behind this game, but I found that the unreliability of the physics-based movement for the crystal ball took a lot of the fun out of it. If the ball could be moved directly while holding down C and the focus was more on the teleportation stuff, I think it could make for a cool puzzle game!

Minor nitpick: there doesn't seem to be any diagonal movement.

Also, the pixel grid effect on the screen was a nice touch!

I actually like the mechanics of this game, but picking up the ball on accident (probably happens because of two button limitation). Also I feel like the enemies would be way too hard if you actually were able to die.

Well done Sparrow, I really enjoyed playing this game! I had some trouble at first with the ball, but when I got the hang of it, I enjoyed throwing it around.
The teleportation feature was also pretty cool.

It looks good. The ball control is hard. Also not sure what the goal is. There's no way to die, you can just walk.
