A very polished experience. Grapple mechanics can be a bit tricky to feel satisfying, but you all nailed it. The art/sound is fantastic and really carries the soul of GB games. Literally my only complaint is that the coyote time/ledge grab is a little too forgiving (could also be user error, lol). I felt like I kept grabbing the ledge accidentally.

Excellent entry! I had a lot of fun playing this for sure. Love the animations and art, the movement of the player sprite is very satisfying and the music/SFX fit very nicely. Simple to navigate controls and a good learning curve too! I managed all 23 flies after much struggle, but did miss 1 spider. . .

This game has such a cool mechanic. It was a great feeling when I got used to controls and started swinging around the levels hahaha!. Amazing job!!

This is awesome, one of my favorite games I've played so far during the jam. Very simple, but the controls are surprisingly intuitive, I also appreciate how the levels seemed to be designed in a way to force the player to figure out the full "moveset" so to speak (Like pulling yourself across gaps or swinging to grab another wall in the air).

If I had to complain about anything, grabbing ledges and pulling yourself up them feels a bit finnicky. The difference between bonking your head and pulling yourself up is very precise. That's very minor though.

Interesting game. At times the slowness was frustrating, BUT! that's something very common in GB games, so I could say you really captured the feeling there. The SFX are totally gameboy. The music at times was a little bit boring, but the gameplay was fun so that was more important.

The main character sprites are just great, and I think this game could be improved in a DX version.

Overall good submission, I was having fun! Congrats :)

Great game! Fun and unique platforming design!

Keep up the good work!

I like how unique the game feel is, compared to the other grapple platformers in the jam. It's certainly a much more puzzle oriented take, and the slower pace gives you more time to be precise.

Solid gameplay, nice graphics, nice music!

This feels like a really fun and polished entry! I think you should be really proud of this entry. :)

Small thing but the transitions (especially the intro / start screen) were really nice!

That animation when he flips up onto a platform from below... Very cool.

Woah, I love this game so much!

the mechanic is super smooth! A little feedback would be the grab is a little quick for me with the pace of the game (just the 'neck' stretch).

Best game I've played so far!

I did eat 5/3 flies on the first level which I found a little strange but I guess there's just a minimum I need to progress.

Really hope you make more content for this (eating flies got a little monotonous)

ah...  but did you find any of the spiders? :)

Thanks for the amazing feedback!

Great concept! I really love the animations, and all the sound is on point. Nice job.

I love the open world feel of the game, the controls felt great and offered for cool movement techniques. Great entry!

This is so good!! It reminds me of "Feed Me" by Nitrome but way more satisfying. The sprite animations for the player character are really smooth. The music got a bit repetitive but I only noticed a few times because I was having such a good time just playing around with the mechanics and traversing the levels. Really good job!

Had no idea this game existed! Definitely shares some resemblance with it. Thanks for the kind words!

I think this is my winner for most GB feeling game. What a gem!

Wow, this is really cool. It's neat idea, level design is on point and the animations for the plants are so nice. Well done! One of my favourite entries so far.

The idea is really fun! The visuals are also greatly done!

Maybe in the credits section you could make the doors so it need to press a button to return to menu instead of just wrapping you back by touching it, I got out of the room by accident.

Thanks for playing! You can go back into the credits room, but you have to walk away from it first (like 1 or 2 tiles). It was too late to make that interaction cleaner. Sorry about that

Really amazed of what you were able to do in so little time!
