Great job with your game. I though the game mechanic was very original and it works. I kept shooting at the planet when I was aiming at something on the other side, but that's my bad skills. Keep up the good work.

This is a really fun concept and a great foundation for a really awesome game! I loved the mechanics of moving around the planet using the gun. Initially I actually thought that I would "fall off" the planet if I went too far to each of the sides, but it makes more sense that the gravity pulls me towards it. If you added sound effects, particles and maybe even an upgrade system, I think this would be great fun :-D Well done, I hope you've had an awesome jam!

Nicely done with the shooting mechanic! It felt good and game became quickly extremely challenging. Would def loved to hear some sounds but still - it was fun!

Great job submitting a game to the jam! I really like the mechanic of shooting an jumping, I did have to restart because I went too far off map to come back. Otherwise, a very fun concept.

I really like the mechanic of using the force of your shot to move

I launched my cannon off into space somehow lol! Fun game!

I'm a huge fan of this game. I love the gravitational pull idea, I like that when the planet gets smaller you have an easier time stopping detritus from the other side, it gets gradually more chaotic as you go, all so good! I can see this as a mobile experience also. other nice thing is a clear path to upgrades if you wanted it, anything from standard space shooter weapon upgrades to ability to regrow the planet all the way to skills trees of some kind, more cannons, zooming out, having to defend an entire other planet at teh same time kind of pinball style... a really solid core game.

Great idea.  If you tweak the gravity a bit the cannon could orbit the planet, which could be fun.

That was a cool idea :) It was addictive. I shot myself outside of the camera a few times, tho :) But other than that. What a great entry. :)

Great job! Overall, I found it to be a fun game—the mechanics are simple and effective. I would have liked to hear some sound effects or music, though. But aside from that, good game!

This is such a good idea for a game that I'm amazed I haven't come across this idea before! Could definitely see this being expanded upon into a full release.

Only major criticism I can point out is that when I lost the game froze. Not sure if there was an intended game over. But even so, this is a really cool game and genuinely a lot of fun.

Thanks, I had planned to add more things but I didn't have enough time, that's why it freezes at the end.

My record is 1.2 min but than death always come along. Interesting mechanic, keep up! It seems like it would be useful to add buttons to move around across planet (but maybe no-sliding is the way it planned to be) ^^

Thanks for playing, you are right my intention was to make the player move with the force of the shot.

fun little game, too bad no soundtrack!

Developer

Thanks for playing, I didn't have time for the music, I'm sure that would improve it a lot.
