I survived 7 minutes 22 seconds. I also managed to kill all the green moulds.

Thanks for playing! The mold is supposed to be infinitely spawning so you caught a bug there, and the difficulty should probably be ramped up as well. I kind of compensated by making the hazards that spawn in later a lot more dangerous but yeah, if I decide to refine this a bit for the sake of completion I will look into all the small bits I didn't have the time for in the jam :)
A fun little game! The designs were awesome and the weapons are class. Think there needs to be a limit on the shooting. Maybe an ammo cap and you need to find more? The mini map was a nice touch.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I agree on the shooting cap, I left it at full blast because it was kinda fun to just blast your way out of a tight corner. I initially had a limit on the shooting and it felt a bit like the weapon wasn't doing so well. The initial idea was that the current weapon would be a 'burst' and then you would have other options, but I ran out of time, so just unlocked the burst to make it feel a bit more fun.
A fun arcade game with a short loop. I managed to get to 3 min 19s with 95 killed. The music suited and I liked the gfx it worked well.
Lots of areas to expand this game later on: more weapons, zoom out, power-ups, different enemies, allies, etc.
I found I'd hit enemies quite often when moving as I couldn't see them in time, so might be good to zoom out a little when the player is moving.
I'd love to expand it at some point, and the music was created for the game especially by a friend so I'm glad you like it! I agree on the camera zoom, I wanted to implement some kind of camera fix for that before submitting but ran out of time, it will definitely help scope out the area before you go in head first.
Fun game, suitable for playing during free time or maybe suitable for playing during lunch break. There should be more special weapons added.
In your comment you said you had to keep the visuals simple, but I actually really like this approach and feel like the "simple glow" effect can look quite nice, as it does here! Great job!

There are a couple minor bugs, seems like if you are in collision you have to exit the area and go back in when scanning. Other than that, its a really neat concept and kinda chill game. The ambient music matches the game play really well,
I think you mean when shining the light on the mold to kill them? I noticed that but couldn't get it to kill all of it in one shot, so I figured some mold are just more resistant somehow lol, way to turn a bug into a feature! It was one of those last pesky things I just couldn't find the cause for. Thanks for the feedback, I'll be sure to check out your submission and rate as well :)
