Hello, I'd appreciate it if I could borrow a few minutes of your time to try out our game and give some feedback. I made a zombie survival FPS game in Unity with some friends. It's been a pretty hectic week but we have a playable build: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024/rate/2738857 You can move with the W, S, A, and D keys, a controller d-pad, or the left stick (left stick doesn't move forward or backward on WebGL for some reason), jump with space bar or the right shoulder button, run with the shift key or left trigger, and fire with the left mouse button or the right trigger. We have 3 builds Webgl, Windows, and a macOS build. It's our second Jam and we'd like to know what we did right, wrong and where we need to improve.

I loved your game Tilegrounds. I think my brother Eric will especially love it since he is a big time strategy game nut and your game has lots of great depth to it. Congratulations on your submission!

Edit: Also very satisfying 3D visuals from your game as well, I enjoyed them quite a bit

Yes, we are a family team :) Hubby, wife (me), and our two adult sons. Was really kewl working together and tossing ideas at one another. We actually have been working on another game idea (Nothing implemented, just some ideas etc), but started watching the Godot tutorials from GameDev TV and saw this Jam and thought "Why not use this to push ourselves into getting a game out?" It has been challenging, though. Zimmerman had his appendix removed, so we never got the lessons done, so we spent most the Jam (especially my hubby) just trying to figure out how to accomplish our vision for what a "Last Stand" would look like. It's good practice and getting something out there just feels pretty good! It's also awesome to see the other games people made, too :)

I am so happy you got the Yosemite Sam reference because he was indeed the primary player character inspiration haha! I really enjoyed your Rune Goldberg inspired game and have been spending a lot of time experimenting with different ways to clear the puzzles. I left comment and rating on your rate page.
