There are sound effects, for some reason it appears to mute for some people. To enable them go to the settings and adjust the volume slider.
I couldn't figure out what was causing the bug before the Submissions closed.

I have finally finished and submitted my game titled "Last Stand!". If you wish to check it out you can do so here: Last Stand!

The game is entirely playable in the browser and even has touchscreen controls for mobile. In the game, your job is to protect your crew-mate for as long as possible from waves of alien enemies that will try and get to your crew-mate. There are three enemies for you to encounter in this game which will start to spawn when you get to a high enough wave. How long can you survive?
