I like the art of the game, and the story is engaging. I appreciate the progressive increase in difficulty. However, I noticed that the settings for the volume didn't get saved. But overall, everything is good.

Nice game! I love me a good "archery" style shooter.
Your pixel art was great! The animations were very well done. Only critique I'd have is to shorten the rounds a bit, as they became a bit long. Especially the first round. Once I found the right angle to headshot the wolves at full power the moment they appeared, I just kinda left my mouse there and waited for them to appear. The birds showing up in wave 2 helped stop that though, as now I had to move around.
Overall great job though! Great submission!

- You are absolutly right, the waves are so long and players may feel boring before reaching the best parts!
- For the first wave, I made it like that on purpose just so the player get used to the controls, but it has to be shorter for sure!

A nice, simple style to this one! The animations were actually better overall than I would have expected from the screenshots, so well done with that. I noticed in your reply to montheponies that you had shot-cancelling initially, and then took it out to make the game harder. That's a perfectly legitimate reason, but if you can't decide whether to keep it or leave it, why not make it an option in the form of a higher difficulty? There are several other things you could lump in with this idea to forge an easier or harder game experience, and then leave the player to decide for themselves how they want to experience the game.
Oh, I am glad you liked the animations since they were a total pain haha..
For the second point, that is a wonderfull idea, giving the player to make the choice is indeed a great choice and has more flexibility!
I will take that in count for sure in the next update of the game :)

Nice game with simple mechanics and great art. My only suggestion would be to may be increase the difficulty earlier so that it is more fun to play after the first time.

Gameplay is engaging, and the the story is a good motivator to keep on :) Art style and enemy variety is really good. Not a huge deal but a indicator for the trajectory of the rocks can be beneficial yet maybe it is design choice for a more challenging gameplay. Nice job!

Actually when I was making the game at first, I had an indicator for the trajectory of the rocks, but that just make the game so eazy, that is when I changed it with an arrow. But who knows, it may be better if I let the trajectory :)

Aww, what a sweet but heartbreaking intro! I'm impressed at how immediately invested you got me. I do agree with the critiques on decreasing wave length, I think 30 seconds would be perfect, but the mechanics work nicely and I love the art! Very nicely done! :)

The visuals is great! And the whole game feels very well done. Great job!
love the story. but once you set your aim, there is not much to it. loved the wave system, it added variety. couldnt get past the goats. very much attention to detail especially the cutscene in the ending.
Finally someont payed attention to the story :) I really appreciate this!
I think you are right, I have to edit the difficulty curve and change some game mechanics, and add upgrade screen :)

Fun game! Might be good to add a cancel fire button so you can re-aim without losing a rock (perhaps using right mouse click). I'd probably go with reducing the time between waves as well to more like 20-30s rather than 2min, just so the pacing is more frantic. Well Done!

- For the reducing of time between waves, it is really important since I noticed that most people who played my game don't know that it is a story based game rather than a typical shooter game, because they don't reach higher waves. So this is absolutly a great idea :)
- For the cancel fire, well, I don't know how to put that, but, at first, I made the game so you can cancel fire whenever you want, but then I changed all of that to what it is now to make the game harder. But I guess you have reason, maybe I should put that back :)
