Great job. In some places it was not very clear what was happening, but it looks cool.

nice game mechanic D. Great job I would love to see the project being fixed like the common bugs and I really like the visuals. Would you mind trying out my game and rating it according :).

Very striking and wild look to this and some nice music. My first play I didn't even realize there was a dark zone. I couldn't quite tell what I needed to do in there. Regardless, I had fun launching around in the regular world

The game looks stylish. The normal dimension background is a bit too much for my eye though. Right now, there is no reason to change into nightmare mode since you can't even see the powerup. The exit button in the menu isn't working in windows version. Music is very nice.

Overall, nice game.

It's a shame you ran out of time with the nightmare mode - since its so dark I could barely see so I never used it - I got to 380 points and I think there is a little bug if you spam click mouse during or just before the transition to the ramp you get pushed back - maybe a problem with thedetection of the mouse...
Nice game

Retrofuture vibes ^^

Very strong visual style! I feel adding the vocal tracks to match with the displayed lyrics will help a lot to more firmly mesh the looks with the music.

I'm not sure what the benefit of going into the nightmare dimension is, I only popped in a couple times to check it out before switching back to the more vibrant world. Also, is there a trick to aiming the ball when it springboards off one section? I was never able to land on any of the power ups during those transitions, usually falling short but once overshooting them.

Developer(+1)

There isn't any benefit at the moment other than the visual styling at the moment, I had some plans for it but I ran out of time.

Also don't feel bad about struggling with the springboards, they're soooo much harder to get right than I intended.

Thanks for trying it out!

Been following this on the Discord page and have been excited to play. Music is great. The look is also cool. This is like a neon noir, marble madness, Thumper aesthetic. I had a little glitch where the bass speakers at the beginning of the level kept growing and obstructing the scene. I think you have something pretty cool here and would be keen on seeing where you go with development. Nice work, thanks for sharing, and also thank you for being part of the discord community. Cheers!

Thanks for trying it out!

While I knew the objects get larger over time, it seems to be vastly inconsistent, especially when it's the WebGL build. I'll try to find the fix for it after the voting is done.

Great asthetic, I don't know if it was just me but I couldn't adjust the music volume. The point and click movement was great. I liked making the marble go as fast as possible.

Developer

Oh you found a bug! I swear the volume adjustment worked at one point, hah. Thanks for pointing that out and giving the game a try!

Nice style! Personally, I had a bit of a headache after a while though, due to the background, but it's probably me. It's a little hard to control the jump length to get the points on top of the bars at the begin of the levels, but it's probably the point of the point and click movement style. Nice music

Overall, a nice game! Well done!

Developer(+1)

While I wasn't intending the points at the top of the bars to be easy to get, they're definitely way too hard to get to.

Thanks for trying it out!

Nice music, it was tricky to get the mechanic but overall liked the style

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah, the music is great. I love how you did a lot with a little- the controls are straight forward, like the little bit of dialogue mixed in there.

Developer

Thanks!

loving the music (same goes for the ObjectA bandcamp tracks), are you putting the vocal version in the game as well? could be super cool. i love the style of game, but i didn't really get the nightmare version - it was more or less just dark - is that a WebGL thing or did you run out of time?

Also: have you tried out post-processing effects? they are super easy to implement (even with built-in render pipeline) and would go very well with your theme (i'm thinking bloom, chromatic aberration, lens distortion and such)

Developer

I'll be putting the vocal version in soon, I just ran out of time to fine tune some of the lyrics and record it. I'll probably add a toggle in there for those who want the instrumental versions instead too.

I've done some minor work with post processing, but that is on the list of things to get back to.

Thanks for checking it out! Also I just sent your entry over to a friend who was asking how the jam was going, I haven't gotten to try a lot of entries yet, but I'd say that's my favorite so far.

Yeh I've got the same feedback, I really like the trippy feel of the game, but I'd reduce the dead time between levels. Very nice job.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Good suggestion, I'll make that a little quicker.

Hey, I like your game, the only thing I didn't like was the long travel time it took to get to the next course/level. Other than that, good job!

Developer

Thanks! Good suggestion, I'll make that a little quicker.
