Music and sound design are lovely, rare to see them being self made assets in jams

Lovely game! I got to 800 meters before I encoutered the chainsaws, they immediately got me, lol. Very entertaining, funny sounds and nice graphics!

To be an endless running game I found it quite relaxing, due to sound, music and the "environment"; for a player like me, it is a good thing, since I don't like too much game that put too much pressure .

As you already wrote in the description, there are still some bugs; personally, I have just found one: sometimes, going back and forth between dimensions, the player and obstacles disapper while the scrolling  and the distance counter still working

Cool game! Especially loved the sound design, voice acting and the music. Well done!

Like the concept where you can challenge another dimension on the way, even though it's easier. There could be many other dimensions and another different kinds of obstacles, which brought much potential to the game. The grass and water not parallax-ing kinda bugging me but the chill bgm and sfx are soothing, which is fit with the art. Good Game!
Encounter a bug where if you keep changing dimension, its stuck with the player missing.

Developer(+1)

Thank you D for spotting that out, I did notice that bug I tried to come up with the solutions which unfortunately didn't fix my issue, and looking at the time I didn't tune out the game or fix some other bugs the game encountered and  I want to say thank you for the suggestions I will make sure to implement that hopefully  I will reach your expectations because my goal now is to change the game and Improve it a bit my only hope is that it will be fun and sooner released for the world to play it and if something that feels like interest I will be grateful if you can give me a follow, let's have this adventure together, I am really grateful for playing the game and bringing your concern to the table I am just looking forward to how your suggestions will turn this scrappy game to something more enjoyable..... Thank you for giving the courage and guidance you guys rock :)

Developer(+1)

Thank D I really appreciate it and I am glad you like the art in the game :)

I will try out yours as well :D.

Nice work! I love all the art you built and the contrasting environments between the different dimensions. It was a cool way to avoid especially tough obstacles.

Developer

Thank you :D, I am glad you like my art and thank you for playing :)

I like the sounds and the idea of switching between dimensions, I didn't understand that you could switch between the dimension at first but went back to the front page and found the info about it there after dying to the gray saw-thing.

Nice submission! :)

Oooh wow thank you very very much like the game idea and yeah those things are dangerous especially if you didn't time the jump very well they can you replay the game infinite, and it's my bad I would have tried to implement the instructions inside the game for easy readability to all :)

I will try out your game as well, I can't wait to see the game idea you guys came up with :)

really nice ideas, it was a joy to  play.

Developer

Thank you D I am glad you like the game idea and thank you for playing :)

Really like the concept of your game! I like the the idea of switching between dimensions and how they had different obstacles in each dimension. One slight thing I would suggest is to increase the running speed, or have an option for the player to run faster. Great job!

Developer

Thank you D, I am glad you liked the part of the game that means a lot to me and thank you for the feedback I willl try and work on those area :)

It looks cute and totally match with jam theme. I got just one issue. When I switch from the fire world and the character disappear. Apart from this, it's a great game with nice idea.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for leaving a feedback D. Yeah for transitions from one dimension to the other as some bugs but sometimes it does work now sometimes the character disappear I tried to debug before running out of time but unfortunately couldn't find the cause so I have to wait until jam vote ends I will try to work on the game and change a lot of things I hope it will better and fun to play. thank up :D.

The character is cute. I would like to speed up with a key press to be a bit faster.

Developer

Thank you very much for liking the character and thank you for the feedback I will try to work on that :)

Submitted(+1)

Was fun, but could use with a bit more speed. Perhaps as the level goes on, or as you shift dimensions back and forth? Overall good job.

Developer(+1)

Thank you D for playing the game and leaving me a feedback I will work on that :D

Submitted(+1)

Loved the cute character; could have done with upping the tempo a little as the run goes on but an enjoyable game.  Well done!

Developer

Thank you D. I am glad you like the game, I will try to work on those area :)

I like the original art, well done.

Great job for 1 man, never thought you can manage to complete all of the tasks in such short period of time without a team. Props to all of that.

I feel like the plants on the water should not move with the player, and movement feels a little slow. It would be great to accelerate things with a time, or something like that.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you D I really appreciate your feedback and I am glad you like part of the game, and thank you for spotting that I will try and work on that :)

You have a nice basis for a game here. I felt like the speed of the runner was a bit slow. I typically want my runners to feel like a runner, this was more like a jogger. I think this could easily be solved by allowing us to speed or slow down the runner with the arrows. That way you can allow the user to control the difficulty. I think you nailed the idea of an endless runner. I like how the portal ability did not just instantly shift you but instead opened portals for you. I think you can take it to the next level by adding a small effect or particle system to let the players know that there character is causing the portals to open. Like a spell cast or a portal bullet travelling from the character to the portal. Great Job!

I really appreciate your feedback D that means a lot and give me ideas of what to add to the game and what to improve on and I am glad you like the game :)
