This is a really interesting concept! I think our concepts ended up a little similar which is pretty interesting - This game is a whole lot of fun and I wouldn't hate playing a full version, the only thing at all that was difficult was just remembering where everything was in the other realm, I wonder if there's a way to make a mechanic for that without sacrificing the puzzle part of the game? Great work!

I really appreciate the checkpoints! I must have died a billion times, but I made it to the end! Great mechanics and excellent vibe, I really enjoyed it! It's really impressive what you all were able to create in 10 days!
Really really fun. I enjoyed the heck out of that. Love that you included waypoints, because it was difficult enough that if that hadn't been a feature, I probably don't play it out to the end. Great work!!
Awesome game! Loved the progress saving ability! Every section of blocks becomes a puzzle to make to the next! Would've loved a bit more room on the camera clamp forwards, especially for the horizontal platforms. Otherwise, awesome use of the theme and really cool jam product!!
My brain had a complete meltdown with this game in the beginning, I didn't read the description and was completely lost 😂. It was an engaging experience looking for tiles and switching colors in the beginning but when I had to start over I don't know if I could see the different colors anymore? 😅Maybe I could and I am silly, because I kept dying on tiles I already explored.
Thanks for the feedback. Hard to say, but it sounds like a bug we had. I thought we fixed it, but maybe we missed something. Did you by any chance go back to the title screen and pressed on "start" again without closing and opening the game? Because we did have a bug where going back to the Titlescreen while in the orange dimension and pressing "Start" again, would fuck up the dimension switching.
We will keep it in mind and fix it, if the bug shows up again.
Well, I have already said it a couple of times in this jam, I am a sucker for neon! And to actually take us into a Tron-like environment, I just love it! Other than that, the puzzle mechanics are very interesting as well. Solid, for me one of the top. Add a death counter... Jumped off too many times :-)
Btw, I also liked the music and how it did change based on the dimension, like playing backwards or something :-)
My brain! It's really tough to see what I'm supposed to do and then also actually do it!!
I appreciate how the 'corrupted' areas stick around between attempts so even touching one platform in the correct dimension helps to pave the way forward if only a little bit. The visuals are beautiful, it's usually pretty clear how things work which is helpful since you can only see half of them at any time.
I noticed that the camera remains at the angle it was when you die, so respawning and having the view slightly to the left or right of center can make it a bit difficult to immediately move directly forward again.
Also I exploded a split second before the game told me that I won, I'm not sure if that's part of winning or if the final obstacle got me at the same moment I hit the end of the level.
This game looks beautiful, I really like the changing mechanic. It took me awhile to understand, but I think it's really nicely done. I feel like I still don't really know which one to use lol, but I had fun. And it does look really awesome, I really like the style
Thanks for the feedback. This is the most annoying thing for us too, we were playtesting this game for days, so we definitely noticed it very early on. It has to do with the 3rd person controller that we took from the unity starter assets. We will probably create our own 3rd Person controller from scratch after the game jam so that we can customize it to our hearts content. Then the delay should be non existent or at least not noticeable. Basically we will try to make the character controller as fluent as possible :) Thanks for playing!
Nice mecanic! If you want to test our game there it is: https://astral-creation-studio.itch.io/your-princess-is-in-another-dimension
Whoaaaaa, the visuals are so nice!! I really really enjoyed the gameplay and the mechanics of switching between the orange and blue dimensions! The addition of some pesky other-dimensional obstacles made the gameplay challenging but also really interesting, I liked it a lot! I'm also really excited that you guys have plans to expand on "Realm Bender" in the future, I'm looking forward to it! :D
Absolutely loved the visuals, pretty challenging but fun. Liked the music too! Hard to think this is made for a jam :D
Awesome game! Definitely very difficult to get the hang of, but the controls work great and it looks/runs great too!
Cool Concept. It makes me think of Tron. The music really helped set the mood for me. It makes me wish I would have added music to my game haha.
A very difficult game, but interesting. Challenges the player. :)
