I struggled with this one ALOT i wont lie!
Thanks for the feedback and don't worry I still struggle a lot with it :D Hope you still had fun even though its hard! We will try to make the beginning of the game easier, so that people get used to the mechanics, before we throw them into a complex level.
Wow, this was really hard. I found it a bit confusing that the obstacles you can touch with 1 color are sometimes visible and sometimes invisible. But I really like the idea and the aesthetics.
Thanks for the kind words, we will keep working on it and hopefully make things easier to understand.
This was a really cool concept once I realised how to play it! very challenging I think something that throws me off a little was the extra colors on platform like purple which Im assuming maybe to represent blue+orange. The graphics and music were great too!
Thanks for your kind words! Yes, we chose purple to represent blue+orange, because if you mix the two colors it's an ugly olive green xD We might switch to a more basic red and blue which would make more sense with the purple. We will also try to introduce the player to one mechanic at a time. That should make it easier for new players to learn the mechanics :)
The graphics were sick! I loved the initial concept and thought the controls were really nice, but it was hard to understand how it worked at first.
Thanks for the feedback, we will try to ease the player in a little more after the jam. Glad you liked it :)
love the aesthetics and the concept. it's definitely wrecking hell on my brain :D I think if you keep working on it, intriducing less stuff at a time might help, sometimes I died without really being able to understand why for a while, because so many types of obstacles are introduced at once.
Thanks for the feedback. We will try to ease the player more into the mechanics instead of throwing him right into everything :D
Beautiful game and a really cool mechanic! Great work :)
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for playing our game!
Neat game with a fun mechanic. A thing I didn't like was that once you get on a moving platform, you have to keep moving to stay on top of it, else you fall. I know this is a unity problem, but I think there are some solutions to it. Anyway, good game overall, I love the neon aesthetic too.
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for playing our game! The platform issue should have been resolved ages ago, even before we submitted it. May I ask which browser you are using? We used Google Chrome for our playtesting and had no issues with it.
I've tried it again and it works now, sorry about that. I am using Firefox btw.
No problem, I'm just glad it works as intended :) Have a nice day!
What an interesting concept! The aesthetics of the game are nice; it’s pretty futuristic and blends well with the music and sfx. It took me a while to grasp it, but I think it needed a tutorial. or something that would explain the game more; still, good job!
Thanks for the feedback! We will create some tutorial levels to explain the mechanics better :)
Really great game:) ,was a bit tricky to grasp at first. The visuals was really well done.
Thanks for the feedback. We will try to add some tutorial levels to ease the player into the mechanics a bit more before hitting him with the complex levels :)
A bit tricly to grasp, but a really interesting concept IMHO. And the visual aspect is stunning, top notch - I love the 80/90s vibe a lot. Really good work!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Really appreciate it!
this one was pretty tricky. i loved the aesthetics, but was puzzled when i'm allowed to move on, if you could convey this to player a bit clearer. but otherwise nice game. Great Job
Thanks for your kind words! We will try to convey this to the player a bit clearer.
The looks of the game are nice -I was just very confused by the "when can I move on what" - maybe if you color the platforms in the same light which you need to move on -> or opposit - would be more understandable (like the black and white thing in Nier automata Hacking) But nice concept - cool idea- I didn t make it far tho xD
Thanks for the feedback! We plan to add a couple tutorial levels so that the player gets eased into the mechanics. We also want to add game modes so that players with different motivations can enjoy the game equally.
What a brain tease, cool aesthetics too!
Thanks, glad you like it!
Really like the aesthetic, reminded of the tron world on KH game.
Nice work!!
Thanks for the kind words. I had a lot of KH flashbacks while working on the level design :)
Cool glowing neon aesthetic and I like the way it says "Realm Bender" at the beginning. Has a kinda 90's arcade game feel. nice work!
Thanks for the kind words!
Cool game with a nice tron-esque aesthetic. I would recommend being a little more forgiving towards the player in the beginning. Still an overall fun game mechanic of platforming between dimensions. Also, nice touch by switching music tracks between dimensions. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the feedback, we plan to add tutorial levels and adjustable game modes so players with different motivations can enjoy the game equally :)
nice game I really like the lighting which was used in the game it seemed to pop and the character is standing out, great work guys. would you try out mine and rate it according.
Thanks for the feedback! I just tried yours and left a comment + voting :)
thanks :D
Awesome game. At first I thought hmm thats gonna be challeging to remember all the platforms. After a while I realized they stay and then was supper happy about it because it would be very very hard without it.
Only thing that is missiong for me is a death counter :D
Thanks for the feedback. I am glad to announce that the death counter is coming :)
Really impressive! But I have to say I didn't get the mechanics until seeing your description in the comments :) It's a bit confusing at first, so it could be a good idea to do a little tutorial with a few first platforms. With that, the game is really worth further development!
Thanks for your kind words! We plan to add more levels to ease the player into the mechanics.
Very cool game! It took awhile to get the hang of things but once I grasped it I was having a lot of fun. I like the unconventional approach of making things interactable when you can't see them, really gets your brain working. I also like how the platforms become enabled once you touch them and don't reset so you don't have to resolve parts you already have. Gamepad support worked amazing!
Glad you like it! Thanks for your kind words!
