Cool concept, but I would have liked the game to be faster phased.

I love the cut scene dialogue though. Interesting :)

Well done :)

Played the game, only didn't make it before the end of voting time. It is a great game. Simple albeit working. Especially the coal coming down and there is the chance it gets turned into gold. Shooting doesn't seem to do much on Midases. Also you show in the image you can fire diagonal...which you can't :( . Not a biggy, overal response is Atari like :D

nice game! I think the animation at the beginning of the level is slightly too long and the audio is also slightly too loud. Also good take on the theme!

I loved Jetpack :D, was nice to have a game based on that inspiration.

Nicely done with this, different baddies to face as the levels progress. Music and art themed together nicely.

I really enjoyed playing this game. I loved the 16bit style gracphics and music. It was challenging but not so difficult that it got frustrating. I liked the cut scenes, they worked really well.

Really nice work on this. I liked the art and the music. The controls handled well and the game was challenging but didn't feel impossible.

Great job!

The gravity was an interesting touch.  Being slow really made you think before you moved. I really liked the story. Without giving the whole story away, all I will say is Poor George.

My one suggestion would be to show the beginning of the stage, where the rocket ship is descending, once and then allow the player to just spawn again without the rocket ship descending, however; the current mechanic in place really made me regret getting hit by an alien.

Nice game! I liked how the slow jump really gave it the space feal

I really like this game, really nice work. I played it on my livestream tonight and you can check it out below for my feedback if you would like to see it

Thank you so much for playing it! I really appreciate it.

If I'm being honest I didn't know I can add images to the game page, I thought I can only make them for the submission page 馃槄 thanks for putting it out because it is really important and I will remember it for the next game jams I'll join. (Hopefully a lot, since I'm 14 and got a lot of spare time lol)

btw I noticed that you didn't shoot while playing, it's making the game pretty hard..

Again thanks a lot.

....I had no idea I could shoot lol. I totally missed that my bad.

What a nice little fun game. Great pixel art. The aliens reminded me of the aliens from the Dragon Ball episodes where Gohan, Bulma and Krillin are stranded on Fake Namek.

Enjoyed playing. Would want to play more of it.

Neat idea. You need a button to get out of the controls page. I had to reload the website just to exit out of there and restart the game. The music is loud, you'll want to turn that down some. Overall pretty alright. Would be cool to see some shakeups to this like the enemies not only going straight across but more of a wave pattern that isn't the same each time it cuts through the screen. Think the Medusa heads in Castlevania games). Maybe different enemies moving in different patterns instead of the same sideways movement to get the player to think more of how to get through? Just some thoughts.

Nice job, I actually LOL'd at your Controls Menu music...

a quicker pace and deeper visual variation on the stages would be a nice touch

i liked the floaty movement style you went with, not familiar with JetPac so i just assumed it came from that inspiration.

Great job with only 2 weeks to build it!

Nice game! I appreciated the lack of a lives system and instead, just the small penalty of having to wait for the rocket to return upon making a mistake. Nice graphics (and subtle lighting effects) and choice of music. Only suggestions: maybe make the action slightly more fast paced - though it worked fine as a slower-paced game.

Liked that the game stuck close to the theme, I think one of the problems tho is that the gameplay feels a little slow and upon death restarting feels slow too. Other than that though good game!

The gameplay is interesting but a little slow. It takes a lot of time to begin the level and I don't really understand the jump. At the end I expect the "things" to fall in the ground floor cause it makes things a lot easier. Interesting idea. I love that you followed the theme.

Enjoyed it!  I got to level three before I gave up :D

I think my favorite part was the helmet lighting up effect from the laser being shot out.

In the intro it should be "... imagine how much money..."

Also, once the rocket has landed in the second level, if you die it would be nice if it didn't repeat the landing sequence...

Awesome art. Great submission.

Thank you! I really appreciate it

Good interpretation of the theme! Pretty nice simple game overall, but the animation of the rocket landing is a bit too slow. You could consider making it faster and skippable, as I see you鈥檝e been told already. Good job!

Thanks! Yeah the rocket is quite slow, I should change it but I was really stressed with the time left.

Not a huge fan of platformers but there's something about this one I really like, and its probably the floaty controls combined with the gameplay. Nicely done.

Developer

Thank you!
