this is my favorite game from the jam
It's a very fun and interesting game and I love how it swiched perspectives and let the player to be "game designer"!
WOW! I love the idea of balancing the game for the player. What an absolute amazing use of the theme!
I love pretty much everything about this game from the art to the music, and Lilmonster was a great playtester.
The only issue I had was that the last game (match 3) was a little hard to balance as it was completely randomized. Sometimes Lilmonster would beat the game on his first move, other times he wouldn't be able to beat it even with a big advantage.
Overall though, this game is one of my favorites of this jam. Bravo! 🎉
super original!!!! as a dev i liked the way you use the theme!! is very difficult balance any game xD
For the open source category, you'll need to have a README file and License file.
Such a fun and different take on balance, and I like that we get to watch your game play your game whilst editing it. Sounds weird, but super cool. I like the sound effects and music; they fit in nicely and the graphics are so cute. I want a LilMonster now!
Thanks a lot for your nice feedback!
In the rush of the jam, I totally forgot the README and License, sorry for that: I've just added them!
Love it! Nice job. You can always spice up your README with screenshots, gifs, and emojis if you like.
Wow, what a cool idea for a game. I am impressed how many mini games you could fit in and balance (I assume you had to balance them to make them unbalanced, or so.. :D). It was sometimes quite hard to find the right parameters to just get this sweet spot, but this is exactly how it works when balancing games.
Maybe the art style could be made a bit more consistent, but I know that this is pretty difficult if you use AI art. Not sure what I did wrong one the second platformer game, but I could not manage to get this one right... It was always to easy, but I tweaked the parameters quite much so that he barely made it.
Congratulations to this very innovative game which fits perfectly to the theme!
Haha, it was indeed hard to balance a game where the play has to balance it :'D
About graphics: I only use AI to generate backgrounds, and I made all sprites by myself. Maybe you speak about consistency for the UI elements (dialogs, menu, etc)? If so, I must say they're basic Phaser shapes, I didn't take time to improve them ^^'
About the second platform game, the trick is to have enough water tiles to make it difficult enough, and increase Lilmonster's speed.
Thank for you nice feedback, I really appreciate it!
To add a bit more detail on the "inconsistent art": I mainly meant that for example the pixel size for your background and your sprites is not the same. To be very consistent they should have the same pixel size, otherwise it sometimes looks that the sprites are coming from another world / game. Agree the UI dialogs also added to this feel. Maybe a pixel art font might help to improve it a bit.
I am fond of games that are themselves a joke about the game industry and this one also has the combo humor of being almost a simultaneously joke about coding bootcamps.
In essence a 100X as complex as this game = probably the backend of Codecademy if aimed at kids in school learning programming in a class probably. Where does a fake game like Lumosity for making old folks mentally sharp leave off and real games begin lol. Raises all kinds of cool questions. That's me being philosophically ambitious.
But for now yeah if someone gives you an animated response like that in a rating, that's a good sign.
Gave it high marks, good job.
Gave you an itch follow, if you like the things on my page(s) consider doing the same.

Thanks you for your very interesting feedback! I always try to find original ideas fitting jam themes, I'm glad you like this one :)
Extremely unique and interesting idea, executed well in a cute setting, very good entry.
Thank you, glad you like it!
i love the idea, is so unique
Thank you :)
Nearly perfect. Impressive good game and idea. Very good job.
Thank you very much!
I really liked the game! Especially its concept and connection to the competition theme, where you have to balance the characteristics of the stage and the player to complete the stage! This idea is innovative and very wonderful.
I loved it! I hope you try my game, rate it, and tell me what you liked and didn't like about it. This will help me a lot!
Thank for your feedback!
I've just checked your game, it's also a solid entry!
You need a lot of patience to watch lilmonster play all those games and fail over and over. I don't know if this should be classified as a game or a simulation. Anyway, awsome work!
Thank of your feedback!
I suppose adding a speed up button would help make my game a little smoother ^^'
Cool game and write up
Thank you! :D
A very unconventional idea and a fantastic take on balance - simple and elegant!
Thank you very much!
Awesome idea! The game is very fun and clever.I d add an fast-forward button for the minigames because, for me ,it got kinda borng watching lilmonster slow-walking the levels:))
Thank you for your feedback! I indeed wanted to add a speedu up button, but it broke the physics of the platforms games and I didn't have enough time before the deadline to fix that... So I gave up this idea ^^'
Really clever take on the theme. I really appreciate the effort on the write up on "vibe-coding", hot topic and good to see some reviews from people actually doing it without any agenda other than to test it for a game jam.
Thank you! I appreciate your feedback about my return of experience on "vibe-coding" :)
This is by far the most interesting game I saw! Finished all levels and really think you did a great work. I would like to have a double speed button to see the games playing.
Thank you very much for your kind words and to take the time to finish all levels! I hope you've enjoyed the confettis :D
Cool game! The idea is really interesting.
Thank you :D
