When I saw Conway, I was already totally excited :D
Excellent simulator, it reminded me of my university days.
It would be great if you could add a button to pause the simulation, so you have time to add simple points and create patterns (that way I can test the iterative patterns haha).

I liked how you solved the animations without actually “animating” them.

I also feel like there are some things missing to complete the picture. Do you have any examples or anything you felt was missing as part of those pillars? It’s my first time as an idle gamer, and all feedback helps a lot :)
As a suggestion, I found the description a bit long to read. It would be great if the item explanations were integrated into the gameplay itself, like in newer platformers.
The idea is to make it more than just buttons and have more interactive or visual feedback. While it’s a first prototype, I’ll take your comments to heart to improve it even further!
