Hi, maybe I'm missing something but I can't see what license these are under?

Hey thanks for playing.
I realise now that I actually messed up by changing the compass last minute and not realising I had the North and South backwards! The Iron is very nearby to the north not the south >.<.
The Last tiny island is to the south and everything goes dark that way intentionally (didn't have time to add lightning!).. It's actually bugged I think as I wasn't able to buy the torch you need when running in browser despite it working when I did my last minute check locally.
Definitely needed to get this one playtested earlier to realise these BIG issues, but I was getting quite run down so didn't push it as I was aiming to learn lots (which I succeeded in) and not to win anything. I'll fix it when the judging period is over and then say goodbye to this game forever haha
Hey thanks for playing!
Yeah it was my first attempt at a 3d game so I ended up spending a lot of time learning and ran out of energy/time for polish to explain things like that!
It was intended that you fall coming back with the wood so that you realise it is a safe way to bring materials home even if you run out of fuel later. I had planned to add a little sheep that walks off the side on loop and spawns back to make you know in advance this is intended but I ended up prioritizing other things! I think I last minute added some dialog from Nimbo hinting to things ending up back here, but I added too much dialog to be honest I doubt anyone reads it!
It's cute and well put together. I just didn't really understand the gameloop. If I want to avoid doing damage I thought maybe I just blow myself up immediately every time, and when I did that I got my highest score, so what was the point in moving and the other abilities? When you hit the end you just blow up, but you can't turn around so how do I stay inside the area?
It did leave me wanting to figure it out though so that's good!! I think some sort of tutorial or soft introduction of the game would be great.
Thank you so much for your review and feedback! I woke up feeling a bit sick today but reading this review has brightened my day! So glad it made you laugh :)
Agreed it's too easy, I wanted to err that way because as you say it's very repetitive so wanted to let people complete it before it got boring, but perhaps I went too far that way! I'm thinking I'll continue on the idea and make it more challenging after the jam period ends.
I was an Angel but I felt like a god. Really enjoyed this, cute art, chill music, it all worked well together I never felt confused. Perhaps the Angel is OP or I got lucky getting 2 goose juice early on, but as others mentioned I never had money issues and could afford everything in all the shops after the first one.
Perhaps making you take more damage but more chances to buy back health could partially address that? That said, it ends before it's too easy for too long, so for a gamejam game it's really nice to get given those dopamine hits of now one shotting mobs and rolling in the coins.
Nice work :)
ah crumbs I changed it to a release build last night for the first time, it seemed debug builds were happy to ignore that error! Thanks for pointing it out, will fix asap!
And yeah Foddy who made QWOP had another game where you just ran and jumped over hurdles which was definitely a big inspiration for this.
Edit: It should be fixed now :)
This game is cute but I unfortunately couldn't get far as I have no idea why my choices were wrong. I'm trying to give a bow to the elf that has no bow, just like in the tutorial where the proficient axe doesn't have an axe. The text in the tutorial was a bit fast for me so maybe I missed something, but I didn't understand why it was an Axe of Light that you needed. I tried a few bows but don't know how to know which they'd want. I felt like maybe I need to have played DND to understand....
Thanks! Hopefully can get it to where I hope before I have to stop, lost 2 precious weekend days due to power outages..
Was talking with an artist friend about how to make a good game logo and while we examined the submissions yours was their favourite! Bit of a coincidence! Will try your game out soon :)
