Pretty interesting approach to the friendly theme. Love me a moody theme

A very well done survival horror for game boy, you could even say it's an old computer game. Leaving the music aside for a better mood was pretty brave, I'll admit.
But I think there was a change from the “friendly” theme to “friendship”, because other than the dogs, there's no way to tell that the game is friendly.
I just had a few issues, very confusing levels and nothing stopping you from running through the zombies. Zombies also latch onto items they drop.
Apart from that, it's a great game, the errors I found are justified by the game jam time.

Edit: I saw that there is also a problem related to "advance dialogue", for that I recommend only updating when a shot or damage is taken, otherwise there will be several useless updates that can disturb the speed of the game.

Very intersting experience unlike anything I have ever seen on the Game Boy. Gameplay is a little bit too slow for my personal taste. But everything else about this game is great 👍

Really enjoyed this one! Cool to see a suspenseful game like this be paired with the friendly theme but it works! Nice mechanics and as always great sprite and tile work!

I'm pleased with getting ending A. That doggy sprite is so adorable!

Really great game. The 2D survival horror made me think of Lone Survivor and you can totally see how this could expand into a bigger game. I was really curious to see how you would switch things up with the enemy and the boss fight happened haha.

Congratz !

Really liked this game! :)

very good! I don't see how it fits the theme, but I enjoyed it anyway. Would love an expanded version

So good! You captured the Resident Evil feeling very well on GBC. It looks and plays great. I like the little references too. I basically have no criticisms other than not really matching the theme. Would love to see a full game developed from the engine with some of the bugs ironed out!

This was really well done! Especially the combat mechanics.

pretty cool design. Good con action. Floors and room changing was a bit confusing. Loved the grey and red!

I really like this one! I will say the inclusion of the theme seems a little arbitrary and not really created around. But otherwise, I love the enemies, the little boss at the end, the dog, the main character, this is really solid! I ran out of ammo at the end and I'm just so glad I beat the game right after. Reminds me a bit of some other games too.

Very cool. I like the art style and the use of color. It adds to the mood of the story.

Its great! I like how you used the colors

Amazing game and art. I can see your work to make a big game to this Jam. Music is simple, but atmospheric. Good Lucky!

Excellent survival, I hope that all the games of the Jam will not be so long, otherwise it will take me 3 weeks to test them all :D .

As in "Nyghtmare", a mastery of Gb studio to offer us a successful GBC experience (thanks for the small screen for the DMG). Some winks to other survival, the dog works perfectly, as the gun system, frankly bravo !

I hope to see more in a future game, still edited by Yastuna :p

Excellent atmosphere and shotgun game feel. I do wish the player moved a smidge faster though.

Nicely done, man. I've played through the whole process and found all the endings. Had to say, it

s better than I expected.

thanks! yeah, it was a lot more concise since its in a time limit. the last boss was actually just added ao you had a sense that the game has an end
