How does your game fit the theme?
You are an agent of the "Friendly Possible agency " whose mission is to restore world friendship!

Did you use any assets?
No, I reused a single sprite created for one of my previous games, and I was inspired by "real" period games, I specified everything in the description of the game ;)

Fun game! Was a real pleasure playing it. Love all the pop culture references.

This project has game-playfulness dissonance, the first I can recall. It also could be an issue with French culture, I tried so hard to understand it but looks like it is just not my cup of croissant

Loved the meme-ness and absurdist humour! I could see the main ideas being extended into a fast paced WarioWare kind of game.

Submitted(+1)

I always admire your sense of humor! The Game Over screen made me laugh out loud. I'm so impressed that all these games were made in one week; yours is no exception. Great job. And an extra thanks to your translator!

Developer

Thank you very much, you're the first to tell me about the Game Over screen, although I'm sure many have seen it :p I'm glad you enjoyed the game, there's a lot of humor in the jam's games, especially in the names and texts :) .

Nice game! Quite funny and enjoyable!

Developer

thank you :)

Very nice.

Developer(+1)

Thank you :D

This was hilarious and I enjoyed every second of it. Thank you for making it lol.

Developer(+1)

Thanks :)

Wow, bizarre, random and creative.
It reminds me of Incredible Crisis!
Games like this are great to play, among so many long ones, something short and with a good theme, it's worth checking out.

Developer(+1)

I didn't know Incredible Crisis, but I just watched it and it makes you want to :D . Thanks for your comment ;)

A nice compilation of wtf-moments :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks, with a bit of gameplay :p

Submitted(+1)

Indeed. I really liked the gliding physics. It felt very appropriate that the character does not just stop moving horizontally once you stop pressing a directional button 👍

Submitted(+1)

This game was bizarre and hilarious. I felt like the wario ware games. Sweet message at the end. Nicely done!

Developer(+1)

People often find my games weird, and I often find it hard to categorize them :D . The main thing is that you found it hilarious, that you had a good time, and I take the comparison with Wario Ware as a very nice compliment :)

man i wish i had a tuesday night like them bois - wonderful job on the game!! it was short and sweet and made me laugh several times! because of me, tho, friendship was ruined several times LOL - thank you for sharing this game!!!

Developer(+2)

All you have to do is steal all the friendship in the world, and maybe you'll be invited to the Tuesday night poker party :D

Submitted(+1)

this is such a funny game & i love the pop culture references! i also really liked how the levels had different mechanics. i can't make the jump from the wrecking ball to the crane for the life of me but i'll keep trying haha. great job!!

Developer

You don't have to jump, you have to climb up :D . thanks for loving the game anyway :p

Persevere to see the end and the terrible thief of friendship :D

Submitted(+1)

This was cute and silly and I love it! I also love the box art which looks just like something out of the nineties!

Developer

I really tried to set the game in this period until the box, I'm glad you liked it even if it's silly :D

Submitted(+1)

Really enjoyed it, made me chuckles all the way through. It was cool to invite the crane driver to the poker game as well. Loved that every level had its own mechanic.

(+1)

i like the funny references :)

Developer

Thank you very much :D

Funny!
This game has fun, mini games, parodies, humor, life risk missions :D, gameboy adds, a deep plot, and very original music :D....
It's wonderfully made to have a good time. And I really enjoyed it, no doubt.
Also I appreciate the time you took to explain your process on the game's page.
Congratulations for the hard work and for making us laugh!

Developer(+1)

Is it funny ? But this game is based on a Shakespearean drama!!!
Thank you so much for the comment, that's exactly what I tried to convey as emotion, through the game and the music :D

Submitted(+2)

how did you add 2 languages?

Developer(+1)

There are two solutions, either a copy and paste of the scenes, or with variables :)

Submitted(+1)

ay, I knew it could be done with variables, thanks I just finished copying one by one the scenarios, when the jam is finished I will update my game to be in my native spanish.

Developer(+1)

Ah but with the mention of Brazilian pastry in your game, I thought you were Brazilian and spoke Portuguese :) . Where are you from ? I preferred to put French because we are really bad in language here, so many people would miss the story which is a pity...

Submitted(+1)

i'm from mexico, i don't really know english so everything i write i'm getting from a translator LMAO

Submitted(+1)

and another question, how did you make it possible to select options in a menu system? i see that many people from the jam made them. i'm trying to follow tutorials but it's too complicated for me. if you could show me how to do it in a picture or 2 it would be perfect. (O_o))

Developer(+1)

That is to say for the selection of the language, or rather when I propose to accept the mission or not?

Submitted(+1)

for language selection

Developer(+1)

I wanted to make you a screenshot, but my .gbsproj file disappeared from my folder, so I can't reopen the game ... If it already happened to someone ? I wanted to make some changes after the Jam, but now I'm stuck ...

Submitted(+1)

Very funny and pop cultured.

Developer

Thank you :)

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

Nicely done! :-)

EDIT: Sorry I couldn't type much yesterday in here! I enjoyed the easy approach to taking things on (like clear objectives) and the sprite work, and you did a great job making those pop songs 8-bit. I liked it!

Developer

Thanks :p
