very fun, not much theme integration though, its not much of a tower just a regular 2d platformer. 4 minutes 3 deaths

I had a lot of fun! It's very well paced and the difficulty is balanced especially in the first levels. The music is nice too!
7mins / 13 deaths. Though the levels were well put together with a good difficulty curve. I struggled with the last few but they were fair enough that with skill I could beat them which is great
The swing mechanic reminded me of the game Teeworlds. I liked it, but it's too hard for me to beat :D
I loved Croakiana Jones, excellent work , details and gameplay nice development
Very nice try at making a fun platformer. I liked the inclusion of the grappling hook, as it adds new depth to this type of game by introducing some puzzling elements into the platforming. Personally, I would have liked it if the puzzling aspect had been more of a focus, but I think that comes down to personal preference.
All in all, I had a good time and enjoyed the challenge.
Love the concept! It’s a fun game once you get used to the mechanics. In the future you might want to make it so some of the platforms can’t be grabbed by the grappling hook. Well done!
Who doesn't like to swing on a grappling hook?
The fast movement made me feel fragile, but it was somehow balanced out with the wall jump and grappling hook abilities that often saved me. I am not an expert in these kind of games and usually I don't have the nerves, but this one actually hit the spot perfectly for me - just a moment before I wanted to give up I was able to beat the last level. So hats down (fedora, of course) for the level design.
Nice job!
The controls and physics in this game are very slick, they feel great. Well done
The S-curve on the level with all the spikes was too much for my lack of platforming skills. But overall very good game. The only real suggestion is to do inverse controller playtesting, to ensure that you aren't out-skilling your average player base. The hook shot is surprisingly intelligent in its placement. It wasn't until that S-Curve level that I felt like it wasn't going roughly where I wanted it to go, or better. The only small bug I noticed is that the bottom spikes don't seem to be harmful, even though this could be seen as a bug. I think don't change it, let the player naturally fear it without actually being in any danger.
I see frog, I see wall jump, I see grappling hook, I see tiny wiggly hat. Very nice.
The art is great. The animations were cool. The grappling hook mechanic was definitely one of the biggest things for me. It worked very well and was fun to use. The audio was also very enjoyable. Nice work!
Excellent animations-especially the hat animation. I do not know why, but I fell in love with that hat animation (I hope it makes sense :D). The physics of the graplin hook was really good. Congratulations for such a polished game!
Easily the best platformer in the Jam!! Nice visuals, decent sound design, tight consistent controls, and the grapple mechanic works so well and intuitively to boot. I'd love to see (hear) some variation in the repetitive SFX for jumping, swinging etc as it really adds a nice extra bit of polish and reduces sound fatigue. Otherwise great work.
I liked the game a lot! At times the game is quite tense due to the end! I dont really see where the tower comes to play but I believe thats fine! I like that I can actually swing extremely far(I can fake glitch through some of the spikes so I dont restart) which is quite funny for speedrunning!
Fun game, but controls feel a bit janky sometimes and the theme could’ve been integrated better, pretty easy and nice art
