Awesome art, nice sfx. Movement is annoying. Due to input delay died a couple times

Cool game! I really like the art style the game looks nice, I think the sound effects add a lot to the game too. The mechanic of slowing down when holding more coconuts is cool, it'd be cool if there was like a bonus or something for collecting more at once to add like a risk reward system to collecting lots of coconuts at once. Great work!

Loved that incredible artstyle. It's fun to collect the coconut and build up your house. The crabs are not too bad to deal with either.

Such an unique art style. It looks so lovely.

The game is simple but it works. I like that "pulling agro" of the crabs can be a part of strategy to get them away from a coconut so you can grab it more safely. The weight mechanic is also good addition.

I can imagine that after adding some new obstacles and making several different levels, it can be a full-size game.

Nice work!

Cool art style. The coconut-crabs were cool. I believe that a challenge was missing.

I think theres only 26 coconuts! considering most of the comments below said they got maximum of 26!

Nice cute game! a lot of times I accidentally almost mistaken a crab as a coconut lol. its nice seeing the coconut home tower

Thanks for playing! I was going to add more content, but ran out of time trying to finish the coding up. Art took a back seat and so did the final tower and winning the game. XD Might come up in future updates if people are interested in playing it more.

I love the artwork here, and the sound choices really help in setting the scene that you're on a tropical island. Not too sure what the end goal was, as I collected 26 coconuts, and couldn't find anymore. seems like a great foundation for a game.

Developer

Thanks for playing my game! I appreciate the feedback. I wasn't able to make it in the game, but I plans to add a sign that told you how many coconuts you needed for the next upgrade & a winning screen when you got to the highest level tower. There are also plans for more enemy types and islands that you could go to.

sounds good, look forward to seeing the next version!

my highest score was 26 and I couldn't find any more coconuts lol,  overall I like the visuals and its a fun gameplay as well!

Developer

Thanks for testing it out and taking the time to play it! I was going to add more features to the game to support the game loop (respawnable coconuts, unlocking islands, etc) but didn't have the time as a solo dev.

Nice Game! I love the artstyle! Its kinda sus that your game is perfect for the theme coconut(which was one of the other themes to choose) but still nice game and gameplay!

Great Work (keep it up)

Thanks for playing my game! The original idea was building a tower to save you from different enemies. And when I was creating the game I had objects that you had to pick up. I figured picking up coconuts and coconut crabs would fit the theme the best. XD

The games art is good and it works fine. could use some more challenge

Developer

Definitely could use more challenges! I have a couple different enemy ideas that didn't make it due to the time constraint! Also having other areas to unlock and go to would have helped.
