I really like this game, and I really like the art, it's fun game. Great work❤️

Most fun game I've played so far in this Jam! Loved the balatro style management of money and buildings, this could definitely be fleshed out to a full game! Animations were lovely and music was peaceful.

A tutorial was desperately needed, I didn't realize what I was doing or that I had to beat the score like balatro until like the 3rd day. I still don't understand what the visitors do. Some of the controls also messed me up, I tried to scroll up to see the top of the tower but that counted as a selection and picked cards for me by accident. I also wish there was a better indicator for when my towers are going to break and I wish I could see to the top.

Thanks for all the detailed feedback. I definitely over scoped it so glad you got some fun even with the issues. And agreed, on the tutorial / mechanics, I had to give up on a lot of the more interesting ideas in order to at least get something going!

One of the best games of this game jam, in my opinion. I wasn't quite sure how to proceed at first and the game froze once, but overall it's a very good basis for much more. I'm very interested in the progress!

Very interesting concept. I like the idea of growing building with all those different departments.

I needed to get used to money vs. visitors mechanic. I am still not sure I understand it correctly, but I think I am able to work with it. :-)

It is great that each floor has its own sprite, it looks so good when you stack them up.

Now I will make some notes about my gameplay experience, they might sound like a critique, but please don't be discouraged by them (it is impossible to make ballanced card game in one week):

  • It was hard to make a pick from realtively same outcome cards. Of course some are more visitors based and some are more money based, but at the end I felt like you still need both so you just alternate between them. Many cards are too similar in their outcome so I didn't really think about my pick much.
  • Then there are cards like Cleaning crew that it didn't really make sense to me to use (+2 turns on existing floor) when I can simply build a new floor that will have even more turns.
  • Liquidate also didn't make much sense to use as from my experience from 5 cards that I can pick from there is always something I want to play.
  • What I was missing most were some combos, because it is a bread and butter of any good deck building game. It would be great if there will be some interactions between floors placed next to each other

Game froze once when I was trying to build another floor (mini-mart). Not sure why. On the other run it ran smoothly.

The game has big potential and I really like it. It just needs some spice regarding gameplay, but I believe you will be able to add it in potential future updates!

Great job!

Thanks for taking the time for the feedback. Completely agree, in the end I ran out of time to properly balance or differentiate the cards enough. In the original scope the floors would have effects based on their position, and also based on the number of each type. However, I had to cut it very quickly as it was clear I wouldn't get the time to put it in. Not sure why the game froze but there were times during development that the way the selection system worked meant it did get stuck. I'll see if I can recreate and understand why.

Fun game! I liked it a lot, Even if theres not much explanation, the fundamental concept makes me actively think strategies on whether to maximize visitors, or to balance profit!

Good game hehe

Great game. I like the art and music, cool concept and gameplay... but I especially like the details you've added to the UI, animations and transition from day to night etc. really adds a nice amount of polish!!

Thank you! I ran out of time to properly tutorialise it but glad you liked the music as that was a bit of a rush in the final hours!

Thank you - I think the art needs more polish but focused on systems, so glad that it felt like a good experience.
