Wow, that’s so nice!! I’m so glad it resonated with you. That’s such a great thing to hear, and I really appreciate it! Thanks for playing!!

thank you so much!! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

This was super fun and engaging, and I almost missed a bus because I was so sucked in. As a big fan of Balatro, this was super fun for me, and seeing some mechanics from Balatro helped because they felt intuitive to me. I will say, there was a definite lack in onboarding, which left me quite lost at first, but hey, the game's so polished in almost every other regard, so it's fine.  Loved the pixel art, soundtrack, and satisfying sfx. In terms of how you may be able to improve it, I feel like every single turn I played, I was just barely winning, which makes me feel like the balancing might need to be tweaked slightly. To get someone hooked, winning a crazy hand at the start always feels so good and makes them want to keep playing (gambling psychology).  Also, at least with my 2 runs, I was hardly ever making enough stardust to buy constellations at the start, even tho the game tells me to buy them, early. It isn't very fun to save up for like 2 rounds in a row without buying anything at the start of the game. Maybe cards get more expensive as you play? Idk. Anywho this was great, and a super cool connection to the theme. Great job!!

This is a fun interpretation of the theme! It left me with a lot of questions like why do some orbs give me glowing dots, but others don't, which I still don't undertsand after playing a few times. Some advice I would give is to alter the text a bit, showing the player text while the screen is moving, and they should be doing stuff is a surefire way to not get anyone to read your text. There were times when I was too focused on moving the ball to read. My favorite thing in the game is the ending which shows your whole journey. That was super cool. Great job

WOWOW! This was so enjoyable. The footage and audio was really moving. Its like a wholesome and low-stakes guitar hero, this was an all around great experience.

Thank you so much, that’s really awesome to hear! I initially came up with the idea while on a walk after a long day at work, the streets were lit up by Christmas lights and it made me so happy. We had previously made a clicker game in the past, and I came up with the idea of a new clicker game that you progress by making others happy and spreading holiday cheer rather than by just getting rich. I think it really just sums up what that special feeling around the holidays is which comes from generosity, kinship, and love. In terms of the addicting gameplay, I think the sfx and light activation feels rly nice, and that sense of progression is pretty tantalizing. I’m so glad you enjoyed the game!!

Thank you for playing!!!!

I'm glad you liked it!! Thanks for the detailed feedback, we really appreciate it!

Ok this is super cool! At first I was confused because the first 5 levels I just clicked each skeleton immediately with no fails so I wasn't sure what was going on. Then I had an AHA moment in level 6 where I got stuck for the first time and it all clicked. This is really fun and the level design and minimalist style are really great!

The atmosphere and sound design are so eerie and haunting! Vaguely reminded me of David Lynch's work. The art style and atmosphere made me very anxious to see what would happen and felt really engaging to me. Despite being very short and simple, this was a super cool little project! Nice work!

This is a really cool concept for a puzzle game! I think having some sfx in the game could elevate the experience a lot, sometimes I couldn't tell if the switch mechanic was working so having a clear and audible sound queue would really help! Also you may want to either lower jump floatiness or just scale up the wall prefabs because I was able to just jump over them in a few different parts (namely the yellow one in level 2). Nice job though this is pretty neat!

Wow this soundtrack is so awesome! I think the roguelike elements are rly cool and its a nice concept. Maybe it was a skill issue, but the jumping felt kinda clunky to me. I had a lot of trouble getting from one platform to the next bc I was either a) not jumping high enough, or b) jumping too high and hitting my head on a different platform. My suggestion to mitigate this issue is having a jump meter UI to help the player vizualize how high they're going to jump. This could be pretty juicy too if it had accompanying sfx. Nice job!

Thank you!!!! Ironically we discovered a bug where the camera moves so fast that u can exit the map at the end of the game 😭😭

I'm glad you had fun!!!! Thanks for playing!

The choir part was really impressive!

Alright just take the win... but seriously this was so beautiful. The artstyle, the palette, the theming, the OST, and especially that ending. Seriously great job guys.

This was an incredible experience... WOW

Thank you!!!

I don't speak this language but I love your art! While I may not know whats happening, I still enjoyed this!

This game is really cool! I love the art and music a ton! Unfortunately the controls felt a little clunky to me, so I kept getting dogged on, was pressing the wrong buttons while trying to fight. This is really fun despite that, great job!

This game is soooo cool! I love the sound design, chess like mechanics, and fun blended art style! Great job

This music fit perfectly for a game jam project I made! Super awesome stuff! Here it is if u are interested: https://owenbk.itch.io/neon-cyborg-massacre

Love it! So fun

Thanks for the kind feedback. Many of the exact numbers in Babel such as the heresy thresholds are kept under the hood. We have been experimenting with different maximum heresy values and haven’t actually displayed it in game.

Thanks man! Really appreciate it!

You bet dude

Thanks for the awesome feedback! So glad you enjoyed it! We have big changes coming soon to the way temples work that should hopefully remedy this issue.

Really appreciate the feedback, working hard to get the upgrade system all polished and working as we speak

Thanks man! I appreciate it!

May have to hardcode your place in our nonexistent leaderboard for that lmaoooo

I LOVE AI ART!!!!!!!

I'm a simple man, I see grappling hook.. I like. Love the little animations too! Really fun little game, loved getting a well timed grappling hook swing. One critique is that it would've been so sick if the frog's tongue was the grappling hook :P

Pleasant little game, nice work!!

Thank you so much man, it seriously means a lot to me. I can't wait to reveal all the new mechanics and cool animations that are being polished rn.

Thanks!! So glad to hear it!

As the description states, its just the demo, as our defense mechanics are still being worked on.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks!!! Our tower defense mechanics are sooo close to being done, just needed final touches.
