A great game with a great story, a challenging gameplay, lots of visual effects and an awesome layered music. 5/5

P.S. the game reminds me of the second chapter of Celeste ;)

Developer

I noticed it only far later into development, but as I was thinking of what music will be playing, I immediately thought back to Celeste!

It inspired me greatly in creating the audio. Thank you so much!

I loved the effect and the game itself! Congrats

Developer

Im so happy to hear this!

Really fun game with some clever ideas. The mirror mechanic is amazing, since it adds some strategy and gives the player time to breathe and plan out the route.  And how the music smoothly changes when you are in front of the mirror is just amazing. The respawn is fast, so you can die a lot and still not be frustrated. The ending and the meaning behind the game was a pleasant surprise. Gj man!

Developer

Thank you very much! It means alot to me! I'm going to play your game now, looks cool!

I absolutely adored this game; the music created such a rich atmosphere, the graphics were pleasant and the controls were really smooth. I also love how you incorporated aspects of psychology into the story, Well done!

Developer

Thank you! Your game looks interesting so I'm going to play it right now!

To those who have difficulty during that one level with the small narrow corridor to the end, try waiting in the bottom right until all the enemies appear, and then go for it.

Sorry for the trouble, I'd change it but I can't update the build files

This game is great! Simple pixel art, multiple endings, and I especially love the stealth mechanic!

Submitted(+1)

Very nice game, I really like the sound and the animations, great storyline and multiple endings

This game is not playable in mac, you should probably update your info, wish I could play it though!

Developer

There is a link in the description.

Its not possible to upload more builds because they disabled it.

Damn this game is impressive. I loved it

It seems like an awesome game, but there's a stage that is borderline impossible, the one with the 4 souls and the mirrors. I might be missing on something, but the souls and the path make it almost impossible to beat it. That took away all the fun I was having with the game :/ Other than that, the game is flawless up to where I played it so congrats! :D

Developer

Thanks for the kind reply! :D
I realize that alot of people are having issues with that level :(

I suppose as the developer I find easy tricks to pass through it but dont think of it from the "customer" perspective.

Thanks alot though!

Submitted

No problem! Could you tell me the trick though? I kinda wanna know how to avoid the guys while going up the platform

Developer

Waiting in the bottom right corner until all the shades spawn, and then just dash to the finish. They should be diverted to a spot that doesnt block your path.

I LOVE this game. It fits perfectly into the theme (in a new and interesting way, I might add). The graphics were nice, the sound was excellent. The story was really cool, and the endings were great. The mechanics were refreshing. I have very little bad I could say about this game. I would be interested to see how the game plays with the character moving faster (and the levels balanced to fit the change, of course). Great job.

Thank you! It means alot to me to hear you say that!

Nice game, though I found the part pictured below too difficult.

Submitted

I had issues here too. The first yellow ball became a chore to get. Overall the level was fun though.

Developer

Sorry! It wasn't meant to be too difficult, I'll keep this in mind on my next projects!

Hope you could enjoy the rest of the game at least!

Submitted

Because you made the game and understand its inner workings deeply and have played it alot during developement it can become difficult to judge difficulty becuase you are so good at it, a simple way to nullify this effect is to get someone you know to play the game, screen record then leave the room and let them play then come back once they are done, watch the footage back and see where they were getting stuck and why, it will lead to a more enjoyable experience on release I think

That level is challenging but it's not 'too difficult' in my opinion. If your idea was to make a challenging game, that level is perfect.
