I liked the audio bits -made it feel more nostalgic -simple fun and very enjoyable -great job! :D
Classic style but real fun,
gameplay is solid, and the various modes are a neat idea, if just maybe a bit unbalanced considering the spawnrate as it is in your jam build (ended up mostly using the "assault"mode throughout to complete the game) but that said the low poly aestetic of both alien ships and the player's fighter jet area real nice and the enemies have some variety to them, and i like the added wingmen you get with some powerups.
What shines here is the sound design, the distorted alien voice is quite fun, and i really liked the radio effects when you get a wingman added.
A bit lacking on visual feedback for impacts on the boss and enemy spawnrate at some points is a bit crazy but other than that and previously mentioned balance game has a nice base and was fun to play non the less.

I liked the changing of modes, and the game overall was okay, but it has lots of roughness. I think for this game, you would have been fine just with complete 2D art. I think the art is very confusing, especially the background and the enemies. The only game where I played where the movement had INERTIA/MOMENTUM? Why did you add that, it was very difficult to control. I wish you good luck with your next projects!
The game was quite fun. It was clear what's going on on the screen and there was feedback when getting hit. It wasn't difficult because of the shield regeneration and life pickups, even when there was too many enemies. I was mostly using assault mode since it had the highest damage output, so other modes could have better benefits than they currently do.
I mostly found the high pitch voices annoying, but overall it wasn't bad. It could be more polished tho.

I liked the changing of the jet modes (although I almost always used firepower because of the amount of enemies xD)
Nice! I really liked the pickup that gives you a second ship. The audio was pretty wacky, but in a way that was kinda cool.
This has some good ideas, the music is nice, the controls are smooth and the game works well. However the sounds could use some oomf, it's not that satifsying to kill thing when there is no BOOM x). But yeah, has potential
I really liked the idea of having different performance modes for the ship. Being spawned in the middle of the enemies after you die felt a bit cheap. Maybe making the player invulnerable for a short period of time after death would help?
I had a game where 5 or so pickups where all at the left side where I couldn't pick them up no matter how much I pressed "a" / hugged the left side. I also found them going a bit fast, but that may just be me sucking at bullet hells :P
I do like the voice and art style though.
The design is very solid. Also really liked the enemies model! Tips: polishing the UI a bit and making the controls more responsive. Well done :)

Good job! I definitely would have like that more on a controller so I could change modes a little easier. The enemy waves got pretty intense!
