Really nice and creative take on the theme! It was easy to get into the gameplay loop, but difficult to master! As it should be. I also enjoyed the music and the devilish laugh when you died! The look of the boss was also cool. If I'd change something, maybe it would be nice to have a bit more consistent look on the game, especially the bullets felt like some rainbow particles flying around :D but that's only a minor thing!

Check out our game as well, if you have time :)

Great idea with the confined area on a moving platform.
Nice art style and music/SFX to go with it.

The tutorial mode could do some some improvement, to walk you through it a bit more. It told me to WASD to move, and when i did i died, then i got to the platform and the game started, so i didn't know what I was doing for a while as the tutorial kept cutting out. Finaly realised i had to stay still and press spacebar to get through and read it all.

Possibly could do with a bit of health for the player, rather then one hit death. Especially with some of the difficulty early on. Especially in Jam games, ease the player into it with some easier first levels, and ramp it up.

The game however is really nice, a great jam game entry. Well done!

This is a very well executed game idea! I'd love to see this game get expanded on in the future! :)

If I had any critiques, the attacks range seems a bit short. Personally, I would probably consider enabling a button press command once the player is on a platform that can toggle the players movement in which the player sprite becomes stationary and the platforms movement is controlled by the players input commands, which would basically eliminate the need for an attack. Of course, just expanding the attacks range would probably be just as good.

No matter where you go with the idea, I'd like to see more of it. Well done! :)

Very creative and challenging. I wish the sword was a bit wider/longer and had a shorter cooldown, but the game is engaging and fun. Well done!

Very cool idea and good execution.

I liked the art and the music, I think they fit the game well.

My one problem with it is that it feels too easy to accidentally walk off platforms. I think it would help the feel of the game a lot if you just couldn't walk off platforms instead of dying when you do.

Thanks for your feedback - that makes a ton of sense actually, and somehow I never considered it!

Really unique interpretation of the theme. The bullet patterns were also very visually appealing, I like how each bullet has a set random colour. Great work!

HEEHEEHAAHAA. That was so fun! Reminded me a little bit of Frogger! Interesting way to implement the theme. Good job!

Really enjoy the concept of this one, very creative usage of the theme! The difficulty definitely ramps up but a very fun experience!

Fun game. It felt very polished and cohesive. I enjoyed how you implemented the theme.

Nice game! The art and the gameplay are both very polished! Keep up the good work!

Really creative idea, and a good tie-in with the theme. As tricky as it is unique. I found it hard to hit the switches accurately, maybe need a more forgiving hit-box on them cos I don't think that's the intended point of the challenge. But a great concept done well.

Nice idea for the theme!

Was a little difficult in some segments, but still enjoyable.

Bullet hell with melee weapon. Oooo God, you did it. The idea of movement platform is brilliant.

Good job. Great game.

I got stuck on the fifth stage, overall it's quite challenging but a lot of fun! On the forth stage it seems to break up the pattern once in a while. The purple and blue bullets always get me, because they somewhat blend into the background. Will come back to finish it after a little break.

This was really cool!

The game is really interesting in its take on confined. Being placed on the boat-like structure and moving around there is really fun to do. The game has a slow pace though, due to the platform moving so slowly. The player character's attack also ends way sooner than the animation suggests, too. Visuals are really neat though, and the bullet patterns are simple to understand and maneuver around. Great job!

Very cool! You followed the theme of the Jam very well!

These platforms reminded me of Super Mario 64 hahahaha

You managed to create a super fun and challenging game! I got addicted, even though I couldn't get past THE SWORD level. Congratulations!

Very creative! Also very hard!

How many levels are there? I'm at lvl 4 taking a break here i think :D

There are 5 total (including the tutorial) and you  can choose which level you'd like to play from the main menu. If you're having trouble on one I'd encourage you to skip past it and enjoy the others. Thanks for playing!
