How does you game fit the theme?
You are in a gathering of bots. One of the bots "is not real". The impostor will try to sabotage the gathering.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code was written by me. I have also made all of the models. I have used some free normal maps as textures, which will be credited in the full game page.

I like how you made the characters make the game feel more lively. It's a really fun game, Great job.

cool game, I like the art and the interpretation of the theme. Unfortunately, there is no audio which would have added a lot.

I had a really great time playing this one. It is short, sweet, and right to the point.  It seemed really well polished and I really dug the graphics and over all feel of the game.  The security gamers were a great mechanic.

This was a fun little "catch the murderer" game!

The 3D modeling of the characters is well done. The pathing of the NPCs feels really polished; the robots move from room to room and spot to spot very naturally (except when there's a lockdown and they press against the closed doors - I think I saw one get pushed by another robot and clip through the door).

Lack of any audio was disappointing, especially since it could've added a lot to this particular style of game. For example, it would have been nice if you could figure out where the last kill happened because you heard a robot death noise in the distance somewhere.

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah the path finding gets a bit broken when lockdown happens. The bots always try to reach a certain destination and I had originally wanted them to pick a new spot in the room they're in during lockdown but I ran out of time to implement that unfortunately. Similar case with the audio too, there definitely would have been sound cues for the kills and nearby robots reacting to it but I ran out of time. Audio is probably the first thing I'll add if I decide to update this later.

I'm sorry I would've loved to play this but I'm on Mac!

Very impressive game system. The graphics are very clean, and the game is difficult but not too difficult. If you polish this up, it will be a very good game.

Had fun playing with the cameras, but hard to catch in the act, so had to walk around and get a feel, caught them on my 3 try, fun game great job!     check out mine when your free, thanks

Finally another first person game! Good job :)

I really liked the fun design of the robots and their facial expressions! Gameplay was really well made, it kind of reminded me of Among Us!

I really enjoyed playing this! It was like a first person Among Us but the large quantity of robots made it feel really chaotic rushing around trying to catch someone. My main suggestions would be around quality of life stuff like maybe being able to mark people from the camera so you know who you have to chase down? I would usually see a robot get murdered and then immediately lose track of the impostor. Still a really fun entry and I hope you continue working on it after the jam!

I thought I commented previously but I really like this game. It fits the theme, has some interesting mechanics where you switch between modes, and there is so much else you can do with this game's future. Would love to see more clues from the imposter.

Very fun concept and robots were great! Good job!

Very juicy concept, I enjoyed putting myself in the eyes of a "robot detective", and I found the camera mechanics very successful. Congratulations!

The robots looked cool, it would be awesome if there was sound! I sadly never caught anyone, tried 3 times before giving up cause I accidently got excited and hit esc to leave the cameras when I saw someone murder. Loved the game!

If you have the time, it would be awesome if you checked out my game out as well! If not, that's okay too! I would appreciate your feedback.

I loved the visual part, the robots are stunning, and the post-process is very fancy, congratulations!!. You can rate and check my game if you want too!

I was lucky enough to be facing the stinky human when it murdered one of the robot brethren. Good job.

This was really good, I had fun. The robot models look cool and having them numbered is a good idea, though the numbers could have been on both sides in my opinion. Some audio would also be great.

Overall, great job and I hope you get to 20 ratings :)

Developer

Thanks for the rating! :)

I decided to put the numbers only on the front of the bots to try to create situations where you have to identify the suspect using only their appearance if the number is not visible. Though, it would probably be worth testing a version with numbers on both sides, maybe that would be better.

And yeah, I ran out of time to add sound which was unfortunate. I'll probably add some if I decide to work on this more after voting is over.

I keep trying to close camera view with escape and it closes the game. That is the biggest and only deal-breaker in this game for me. Otherwise, the second best game I've played in this jam so far.

This was really fun! Sort of like Among Us but 3D. I like it :D Well done on the jam!
