How does you game fit the theme?
You have to shoot zombies and some zombies are not real, in order to conserve your ammo you must try not to shoot fake Zombies
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything in the game was made by me

A fun, simple game! I liked the mechanics and thought the difficulty curve for each wave was just right. The upgrades, as well as having to preserve both health and ammo, made for some fun strategizing that really elevated the game. The only thing I'd improve about this game is that I would make it easier to tell which enemies were real and which were fake, in order to give players the ability to better choose when to use their blue bar attack. Even so, great work on a very fun entry!
i would love if you are able to shoot yourself in the face, as a little stupido bonus u know? nice game though
I don't know if I'll add that, but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Amazing how far you have worked it out. A lot of mechanics are integrated!
Really a well done game.
thanks!
I enjoyed the game! The health and ammo drawing from the same pool felt a little weird but it worked, through it would leave you needing to make a strategic decision about whether to hit space or shoot which was essentially a gamble since not all zombies would disappear with the space bar. Good potential I enjoyed the game!
Thank you, glad you liked it!
Cool little survival game! I thought that the fake zombie mechanic was interesting but wasn't quite sure if a timed screenwide fake zombie killer was the way to go for dealing with them. I think maybe having a different type of fake bullet to take out the fake zombies could have been cool. My only issue was that having to save the space bar ability for when a lot of enemies were on the screen resulted in either having real enemies closer to me than id like, or having to waste bullets afterwards on fake zombies. All in all though I thought it was interesting and fun and stayed true to the theme. Well done!
Good game! Easy to understand. Good take on the theme, and good level of difficulty too.
Interesting concept to link the health and amount of ammo. Really made you think twice before shooting a zombie, great job!

It was nice game. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that your health would go down every time you shot.
Love the look, had fun killing zombies, Good Job!
looks cute, the music is nice. it's a fun little game.
Fun and quick game, I have not played a lot of action games in this jam, you did good. Keep it up!
A nice take on the theme. Good job :)
Good game! I love the art and music
I was very confused about how the real/fake system worked. Im not sure if there was supposed to be some other enemy detector other than the blue bar at the top because just using that was kind of weird because you ended up just waiting for the bar to fill up then clicking it and shooting the leftover zombies. I also think some way to get ammo back would be good (unless that is in the game I could not tell).
Overall nice job for your second game jam game!
Thanks for the comment, A lot of people also mentioned that the enemy detector thing was weird, I'll probably add another way to differentiate between real and fake zombies when the jam is over.
It was a bit confusing at start about how the real/fake system works but once you take the grasp of it, it's actually pretty cool !
At some point, some bullets still touch the fading ones, wasting ammos.
But on overall, really nice sounds and visual feedback and well made game (>w<)/
Good job on this entry ! (°w°)b
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked it. I am aware of the bullet issue because someone also mentioned it and I actually fixed it, I'll publish the fixed build after the jam is over.
Neat game. I like the sprite art, it's simple but pretty effective. I also thought it was cool that the fake and real zombies had different death animations, nice touch. Like someone below already said, the level of polish is pretty high with the alerts that the disappearing bar is full, ammo upgraded, etc. Very clear with sfx and everything. Also made pretty clear that ammo = health with the sprite work on the health bar. Well done.
If you wrote the music (which was cool), you could ramp up tension between waves by adding elements over time. Same composition and all, but add some percussive elements later on, maybe new melody, etc.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I made the music in like 10 minutes, but I think I'll go with your advice and change it up a bit
Cute game! The artstyle was not bad, the music and sound effects were also good enough. Very well-polished game, giving appropriate feedback when reloading, killing fake enemies, upgrading, and when the bar is full... Well done. The interpretation on the theme is similar with me XD which I really like... Didn't manage to beat the game, but great entry... Good job!
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!
Cool game! The art was pretty cool and the take to the theme was great!
I rated your game, it would make me very happy if you rate mine :)
I think it's just impressive that you managed to create this game by yourself. Doing a jam by yourself can be challenging and I am so glad you pulled it off. I still have some suggestions for this game, I wish there was another way to tell if the zombies are not real and I'll explain why. With the current system in this game, the best time to use the detector is always when there are a lot of zombies on the screen, and it doesn't add too much "strategy" into the game. If you can tell that there are "not real" zombies on the screen by their looks or the way it walks, you can save your detector and not waste it when there are a lot of zombies on the screen and only 1 or 2 are not real (maybe even 0). I think you created an awesome game, I can't wait to see what you come up with in the future, keep up the good work!
Thank you for this great feedback, I was considering that the fake zombies make a different sound when on screen in addition to the detector mechanic, but I didn't have the time
Good idea, fits the theme and good execution ! The game is simple at first, but the later levels can be a bit tricky and make use of the "detector" mechanic., that's a good difficulty curve.
That's a good entry, especially if it's your second game. Congratulations =) ! Did you also make the music ?
Thanks for playing the game, I'm glad you like it and yes I did make the music.
