How does you game fit the theme?
You have to distinguish between real people and ghosts (not real people) as a ticket seller.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
The code and graphics were all made by us especially for the game.
Except for the sound effects and the music, we used several purchased libraries.

Great game, nice loop you've got going, would be nice to see your score on the 'game over' screen and/or maybe have your highscore listed so you have more incentive to beat it when you play again. Feels like there is a timer for each round - would be nice to see it and I think it would add to the pressure to try and hand out tickets faster, and probably also lead to more errors/more replays. Simple concept here, but really lots of fun. Nice work on this and great addition to the jam!

Nice game, it's very simple but enjoyable. The art and ambiance are the best part, it's also pretty creepy.

Fantastic game. I enjoyed the arcadey style of it and I don't think I've seen a game like it before.  Very interesting concept. Hats off to the artist as well. Amazing graphics. Spooky yet super realistic. Can't wait to see what else you do it. Maybe different backgrounds as you level up or something?

Please can you vote my game on the last day before the jam ends? Thank you :D

Really cool game, refreshing take on the theme! Best graphics I’ve seen in all of this jam. Nice difficulty curve, really cool how the ghosts get more difficult to recognize over time (I felt the clues were getting more subtle over time, or was that luck?). Simple but effective narrative. Reminded me of papers please.

I got really curious about the people visiting my booth. What are their names? What are the consequences of me letting a ghost in? Does that turn other guests into ghosts as well? Or leaving a non-ghost out? Are they safe outside of the cinema?

Really cool, thanks for creating this!

Loved the art style of this game - thought the designs for the ghosts were superb. Really novel concept! I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but having the red and blue buttons the opposite way round from how I expected them really had me concentrating hard on whether I needed to press A or S. I also thought the difficulty curve was well adjusted for the first 10 levels. One suggestion I have as an improvement is that you could also have implemented getting a certain number of orders in per night (with the timer getting slightly faster with each level) as I found after level 10 that the difficulty hit a bit of a plateau. Really well implemented though!

This game looks great! Some of the ghosts look really disturbing. The mechanic is simple, but fun. I had the most difficulty with selling the real people the right tickets :). Good job!

All the different art for the people was really neat!

The game is very polished! and also the art and the audio is amazing, the game can also be challenging especially when there is timer on it and also it has a creepy atmospheric view! good job!

This art style is absolutely gorgeous! Detailed pixel art takes a lot of time, and the character designs in this game are just stunning! Having two different types of tickets to give out was a good touch, because I think the game would be too easy otherwise! I think the game could use some more ambient noise or background music, but with the time constraint, it's understandable! If you plan to continue working on this after the jam, I think it'd be cool if you were to expand on the narrative on the story and add in more mechanics as the levels continue! It's definitely a solid jam submission! Awesome work!

Fun narrative justification for the gameplay elements, which were surprisingly layered considering their simplicity. Audio was a bit grating; not bad, per se, but audio style didn't fit the visual style in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this, up until around day 8. By that point, it got a little repetitive, so it would be cool if you could add a couple of extra things every so often. Maybe a werewolf that you need to shoot with a silver bullet instead of throwing the crucifix, etc. Otherwise, it's a cool game with some great art. Very well done.

nice game and nice style. kinda reminds me of papers pleas or no umbrellas allowed. fun to play.

Would you like to try our game too? You can compete against all the players and put down your own highscore.

Very fun idea! Gets a little repetitive thogh. I think I would have liked to have limited time to react and then get faster and faster. But anyway, I really liked the game. *Throws crucifix*

superb graphics and a neat little concept for a game. It would have been nice to have some more audio, like the sound of people and muffled movie trailers, a cash register when you sell correctly and an audio cue letting you know when you messed up. You could also add a meter that would show the happiness of your boss, if you mess up the happiness meter drops and if it gets too low, your fired :)
