How does you game fit the theme?
You play in a world that lies between reality and fantasy.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code is written by me. The assets are store bought (credits in the description and the game menu).

Impressive number of features for a jam game! Feels like pretty solid foundations for a proper dungeon crawler. I hope you keep working on this!
Thanks, will be doing just that!
I love that this game's got all of the setup to be a great dungeon crawler with inventory and character development. right now combats a little bit hard to understand? I don't know when to block or attack and the monsters just overwhelm you. aside from that, I love the art! love how many creatures with sick weapons there are in the game! I cant wait to see this game later on with more development :)
Thanks! Stay tuned for a post-jam version with more improvements and features to come!

Cool game, great effort, loved the menu, Rated
can u check out my game too? it'd be a huge help ;) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418965
Thanks for your time and will take a look at yours.
Nice game. You added a good amount of features for a game in only made in 1 week and as someone who is a fan of rougelike dungeon games, this is very well done - great job!
Thanks for the feedback! Most post-jam work to come.
Amazing gameplay you had there. This could have a great potential, even post this jam! Keep working on it.
Thanks, appreciate it! Certainly a lot to do post-jam.
I am also very impressed by the amount of features you were able to include in such a short time. I only made it to the 2nd or 3rd room on 2 attempts as I could not figure out the block mechanic and it was difficult to hit the enemies if they were above me. However, the overall feel of the game is very clean and well put together, with a nice fantasy feel. I really like how you included a tutorial as well I wish I could have implemented that in my own game. Great job!
Thanks for the feedback. Yes fighting creatures above and below you is a problem, need to figure out what to do there. More post-jam development to come!
Atmosphere of the game is great. I did think the combat was a bit hard as you can't really face upwards or downwards if I'm correct?
Thanks for the feedback. Yes the combat is a bit clumsy when you’re going up and down (the hit colliders are at the bottom of the player). Looking to fix that post-jam. Thanks for playing!
I really enjoy the graphics and the general style of your game.... I just got confused a lot as to where i could walk through and where not, it looked as if the walls were on the wrong layer at some places ^^' But that aside your game is really great and i look forward to future updates on it!
Thanks. Yeah I noticed some walls are off and colliders are messed up. Everything is procedurally generated so the procedural generation hamsters have some work to do before it’s right.
The combat is a bit not responsive but the graphics are really nice. Congrats on the submission! 🎉
Thanks! Will take a look at the combat in a post-jam update and will check out your game too.
Fun game although the combat could be improved a bit it feels kinda slow but otherwise good
Thanks for the feedback. Plan on continuing to work on things so will look at speeding things up. Balance is hard to achieve in a short time.
Glitch found: I glitched through the wall btw it was fun though :>
Thanks. I blame the Internet for glitches and do not accept any responsibility whatsoever.
its the coders responsibility to be honest as the coder failed at not observing the glitch... like dude you can't just deny the fact i had many glitches too but i solved them professionally if this is the case then, any time when a bank is robbed by any thief the bank should be like: "nuh, its our locker's responsibility for not having better locking system!"
hope you understood and it did not hurt your feelings... sorry D:
LOL. It was a joke. Of course it’s my responsiblity.
oof sorryyy
It’s all good. Glad you checked the game out and appreciate the feedback.
Game was very good I noticed sometimes I could glitch through walls and get some easy hits off enemy's around corners. Overall the game is fun :)
Thanks! Yeah some of the colliders and layers need work so post-jam updates coming. Glad you liked it.
Really nice basis for a dungeon crawler. Blocking needs some love but the features that are here seem to work well.
Thanks. As typical with game jam time crunches and RealLife 1.0 never enough time for everything. Hope to expand on it.
Your presentation was very atmospheric and just like me you made a dungeoncrawler what a coincedence.
Thanks! Will check out yours as well, so many games to go through!
Yeah aiming for all of them xd.
Damn, didn't expect an RPG game as a jam submission but here we are :D It's nice, there are definitely bugs, some Y sorting would be great but it's an accomplishment to put so many features in a game in such a short time! Good job
Thanks! Yes a little ambitious and given a week (after messing around for a few days trying to figure out what to do) it was a good experience. The sprite sorting and other bugs will be fixed post jam so stay tuned!
