Love the art and little story that's behind it, although I'd like to suggest that you should reduce the sensitivity of the mouse rotation but other than that, the game is really good. Great job.

How does you game fit the theme?
The player has to go to a "Not-Real" dimension and fight a monster that doesn't exist.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes ( except the music)

I enjoyed the art and the game concept. It is well thought out. There are a couple of things that could be improved, such as adding animations and improve the feeling of the controls. I also noticed that there is something off when rotating the camera with the mouse (it stutters). Maybe you used Update instead of LateUpdate to change camera rotation?
Regardless, the game concept is good and I really enjoyed the art. Well done :)
I really like the idea, gameplay loop, and the world you move in! Everthing looks great!
What could be improved is the fighting part. It seems to me it's just spamming your mouse and hoping to kill the monster faster. I'd really like to see more mechanics added to this part, so it's more interesting.
And I'd really like if there were more monsters you had to defeat, but I get that you probably didn't have time.
Really impressive, great job!
Amazing you made all the assets and animations! We did that for our game too so I know how stressful and time consuming it can be. I really liked the concept overall of having to use the clues given by the equipment to find the monsters. Most of my suggestions would just be around polishing up the movement and controls a bit but yeah! Really solid submission I had a lot of fun with!
Well done on creating all of the graphics, in particular the anti-reality glow effect. I think you guys took on a massive challenging creating a 3D game from scratch in a week, and with such a unique concept too. It was very rewarding to learn more about how the strange tools work, and to unravel the purpose of the game. The short time is great- it allows the player to fail fast, and focus on learning the systems, so that really works well. The ammo count signals very well that the player will need to use each item only once, and needs to figure out how.
If you work on this after the jam, definitely look into Cinemachine - I think it would make your life a lot easier. And I think for combat you could focus on the concept of telegraphing - maybe give players plenty of warning before and attack to dodge, and a very obvious attack radius to look at, so that it feels fair if the player stays within that area and gets hit.
Overall though, there's a lot of hard work covered in such a short game. Very impressive.
I like the concept :D Feels like a ghost hunting game. The controls are a bit weird with having to hold right click to move the camera (not sure if that is intentional) but other than that, it's fun.
One thing that would be cool was maybe having certain tools only work for some monster types and having to figure out which tools to use, if you expand on it later.
Super cool game! UI graphics is pretty cool!
Let's try our boss battle! And let us know when the boss kill you (:
This is one of those games where if you had come to me and asked me to program it I would have wondered how to execute. These creators took that leap and did it!
I'm very impressed. I managed to find the monster, and let me say it is difficult.
Please download this game. The concept alone is worth the look.
I really liked using the tools to track the monster but I didn't realize they were limited use at first so it took me a few tries to figure out how to find the creature. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to beat them since the controls were a bit awkward. But the game looks really good! Especially the effects in anti-reality :)
I say. Can you imagine having a mere hour to slay such a beastly thing? Its time well spent if it meant enjoying crumpets for the rest of the day. Indeed I'd say those crumpets were well-deserved. Good show.
It fits the theme well although the control of rotating the camera with the mouse has cost me a bit.
Using the two tools to locate the monster is a neat idea. But the combat doesn't feel good on mouse and keyboard.
Graphic side, top notch.
I found it hard to play with a mouse and keyboard. Hope its better with a controller. Sometimes my inputs didn't seem to track. I tried really hard to learn your combat system, but I couldn't defeat the monster. I think this was a great way of applying the theme. Good work on the graphical effects, too!
Nice Game. Loved the graphics, rated it 5/5. Pls check out my game as well - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-7/rate/1418152
