Nice game. Bizarre concept, good music, fun to play.

Glad you like it! Thanks!

Beautiful artwork! The framing was a bit cropped in the WebGL version but I still got the feel of the game and enjoyed it. If you're coming back to it, a few sound effects would take it to the next level, but hats off again for the artwork. Well done!

Nice game. I think some of your UI says things that weren't true for me. The enemy castle lost all of it's health, but it said the enemy won. Either that, or I didn't understand. But a great take on the rock paper scissors theme, and nice use of sound effects for player feedback :)

Lovely artwork. A nice challenge. Well done!

Nice one!

All good. Hopefully it'll help others to play too. :)

Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully I can iron out some of those issues in a future update.

Yes this is a known issue. There is a downloadable version which is not broken and works correctly.

Thanks for fixing it! Issues are part of the jam process, I'm learning. I certainly had a few to overcome myself. I'll definitely give yours another try.

If you have the chance to give mine a look, that would obviously also be awesome. if you haven't already :)

Thanks for playing!

Yes, apparently it plays for some people, but I think after the jam I will just scrap the web version. Thanks for your kind comments! :)

Oh thanks! :)

Ok nice! It's like musical bullet hell. I absolutely love it! I have to say, the way attacks sync up with the music is just really good. And as I said, nice controls and everything. I guess you need full energy for a clone? Very cool game. And thanks for responding to my message!

(Facepalming sooo hard.. I was pressing space. Couldn't figure it out. If you do bring yourself to play mine even after my little blooper moment, I would be overwhelmingly grateful!)

Sure. The clone tutorial finishes. Then it cuts to the player character in the bottom left, with "..." in white and "..." in pink both underneath the player character. The rest of the screen is black. It looks like a loading screen. And nothing happens after that. The same thing happened twice to me.

The windows one. I mean maybe I'm missing something, but I've unzipped and searched the folder for a .exe, and I've browsed for anything I thought looked like an application file. Nothing coming up.

Nice game. Sick music! :) I also enjoyed the well-used camera shake. I enjoyed playing.

I'd be humbled if you could check out my game if you have the time.

Is there any way you can play the game without pygame installed? I tried the link in your comment.

Well done. As BenBonk said, wacky! Possibly the king of wacky in this jam if such a thing was possible! Nice boss fight too.

(If you would consider playing my entry, that would be amazing :) )

Thanks for this post. Great idea! I'm trying to do this (and yes, I'm rating fairly! :) )

Cheers! I'll take that onboard, and may make a small update after the jam with more tutorials and levels. Thanks for the feedback!

Really slick game, and fun to play. Great variation of enemies and levels. Well done!

[Was able to play. My own mistake.]

I was looking forward to playing this, the controls seemed great. Nice trail for the characer. Unfortunately, after the tutorial it enters a loading screen for me, and I can't get past... I'm running Win 10 x64 in case you know why this is happening...

Seriously well done for getting the coding done in 7 hours! Visuals are the strong point here, for sure. Do I detect some BTP inspiration? The game juice was really cool - the juice for the friendlies possibly confused me and got me killed once or twice in the beginning, but cool nonetheless. But again, incredible comeback from a corrupted project. If you hadn't called it out, I'd never have guessed!

Nice game! It made me nostalgic for FFX, and I was delighted that I got to fight the real final boss with its own final battle music and everything. Well done on the animations too. I think ever-so-slightly more buffed enemies as you progress might have made me change up my gameplay tactics a bit more, but good job on this!

Nice work! Likewise, I actually think your game is one of my favourites! It really feels good - nice feedback for the different controls, the attention to detail with the animated shrubbery is very classy, and I love that it's a rogue-like. It adds variety even if you get killed. Well done!

Thanks for your very kind comment! I try an commit an  hour or so in the evening to playing people's games after work. But today is Saturday, so I'll try to play as many as I can today. I'll definitely check out your game. :)

For me, it played pretty smoothly anyway.

Ah yeah. It doesn't affect the gameplay that much anyway.

I might give this game a try again if you can tell me how to attack enemies. Looks promising. Sneaky wizards tricking me into softlock game overs..! :p

Nice stealth game, and I appreciated the minimap in the top corner. The map must have taken a lot of effort but it really adds to the experience. If you had had more time, a bit of sound would have really elevated it to the next level, but a fun experience! Well done!

Well done! I enjoyed the ambience and the detective character. I didn't guess correctly but it was fun to play.

Nice original take on the theme. It took me a few goes, but I beat level 5. :) Good game!

Very enjoyable game. Nicely done. The progress bar was also a nice touch. Ghazia makes a good point about physics materials, but I definitely had fun with this.

Like Micnasr, I also can't see the actual game or download button anywhere, which is a shame because I'd love to be able to play it!

Very cool. Great music. Nice lighting. Cool main character. Really fits with the theme and I'm very impressed by the procedurally generated mystery! By process of elimination I definitely found the killer. (The notes is a great addition). One small point is that I had to check the reviews to find out how to accuse someone and when I tried to accuse them by pressing up, nothing happened, and I when I tried to accuse an innocent person, I guess I died? But again, this was really polished and really good fun!

Good game! Sometimes it went very fast, so I was just picking an answer at random.. It was a very creative idea, and very good implementation of the theme!

Nice work! Procedural levels? Always impressive! If you're updating this, perhaps you could add a minimum number of starting tiles between the player and the shoppers? I died by completing a level and respawning right next to a shopper.

Nice work! My tactic was to hang to the edge and go in circles around the field, spawning helpers to take out the tail end of the swarm that was chasing me. I like that there are different ways a player can approach the game. Good use of knockback on the enemies too.
